I love that the safety car is flat out, but it looks like its in second gear compared to the f1 cars.

One more lap and Kimi could have been in 3rd possibly?

Yup, probably would've had Perez overtake him but sold points rather than one point given up alas. SC didn't just come at a bad time for him, messed him up badly, almost a lap behind the McLarens now. He'll probably be allowed catch halfway up to them.

Jaysus, some blowout on Max’s car! Gutted for Kimi, just one more lap out would have been great. Russell absolutely blown his first points finish.

Good battle for 3rd ahead.... fancy LeClerc for the podium!

I feel sorry for all the other Boardsie folk that went back to bed.

Meh, still a Mercedes 1-2 with a Verstappen failure.

And it's an absolute beast of a car. Any of us going round the track in that would have our hearts beating out of our chests.

Possible podium for Ric. Nice result for him.

Will he remember the shuey today?

‘Sorry about that, ran out of talent.’

Could say the same for Russell tbh.

I don’t know why but I enjoy the anecdotes about Bernd Maylander whenever the safety car comes out

Possible 2nd for RIC actually with the damage BOT has.

    Great move from Perez.

    Albon wishes there was contact.

RedBull with an absolute nightmare weekend

    That's it for Albon

That's Albon's Red Bull career finished.

    Nowhere near good enough.

I got both Red Bulls to not finish at 25/1

But Russell isn't a billionaire so that wouldn't be fair.

Thought they were going to retire him there, but they've give him another set of tyres to wreck.

Could Kvyat steal a podium here

One more mistake in the field and Latifi could pick up Williams' first point :L

This is a regular thing for Stroll, though.

He clearly has some talent but for whatever reason he regularly brainfarts.

As if things couldn’t be worse for Albon, him binning it has officially given Merc the title.

    Which would be brilliant!

Really hope so. Would be better than seeing the overly happy big nosed fool take it

An amazing Merc 1,2. Get in there Lewis, yawn.... :(

I'm raging, Racing Point again make bad decision to cost themselves. Podium for Perez was there for the taking, they sacrificed track position at a track you can't overtake on.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,884 ✭✭✭Tzardine

I just noticed that the air vents on the merc pit wall are straight out of one of the cars. :)

    Cant unsee it now.

They must have thought everyone else was going To move to softs and didn’t want to be left vulnerable. That’s the only reasons I can think of why they did it.
