I feel if the ball is held up over the try line with the clock in the red then the 5m scrum should be played.

    Willemse a bit naughty there

    Poor Edinburgh...

Given there were 16 teams put through, there was always going to be a dud team.

Sexy hands by Zebo, brilliant rugby from Racing now

Edinburgh started strong, but this has been a complete whitewash.

Edinburgh started strong, but this has been a complete whitewash.

Starting Kinghorn was madness, I’d be livid if I were an Embra fan but all 8 of them don’t seem to care.

    From the BBC commentary page:
Racing's ferocious intensity has finally finished Edinburgh. I can officially announce that the floodgates are open.

This was when racing scored to make it 49-3 by the way.

Don't know if it's the fact they're not playing crowd noise, or just the commentary team, but a few of the games on BT Sport are just really flat in terms of atmosphere.

Some of the games have been brilliant, but the likes of the Gloucester game, and this Bristol game now just seem dead

The penalty count ain't helping the bordeaux game either.

How did Vui not get a yellow there? Regardless of weather he hit chest or neck there was surely no wrap

    Owen Farrell special.

Joke decision. He was utterly determined to give a yellow.
    Someone anyone

    Absolute shocker

The French TV director played an absolute blinder there

    Disgrace

There was one replay showed a clear knock on there, but we never saw it again.

Callum Sheedy from the Sexton Biggar Farrell school of complaining with absolutely everything

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,366 ✭✭✭yerrahbah

    Pretty blatant knock on

    Jesus that’s incompetent

Thought you could see the ball hit 8s hand in one replay but they never showed the best angle for it

Yeah there was one angle where it clearly hit the 8s hand, but the TMO and Adamson didn't see it and the angle was conviently never shown again

Wouldn't be Adamson biggest fan as but as you said the angles they had there was nothing obvious there for them to go with.

Sheedys manor with the ref is really not helping his cause either.

There’s no way the ball goes the direction it did unless Higginbottom knocks it forward.

Sheedy seems a strange choice of captain.

Bristol players head hit the ground. HIA is valid

The last 20 minutes of this Bristol game has lasted about an hour with all the time the match officials have spent looking for high shots to the head.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

Bordeaux ahead by 12 points but down to 13 men for the last 90 seconds of this game.

Bristol have a 5m attacking lineout and bottle the throw.

Bristol regain the ball, throw it wide for an all out attack, have it intercepted and Bordeaux score under the posts from a 60m run.

    What a bonkers game.

Bristol haven't got used to big cup ties yet.

They literally won the challenge cup last year.

Is BT trying to make out that Bristol were hard done by the referee? Poor form really.

    But hardly surprising from BT.

Is there not a rule that a try can only be overturned by something that happened within 2 phases? I was confused why they were even looking at it.
Douglas yellow didn't even look like penalty to me, he had hand on ball before he went off feet and the ball might have been out.
Felt like that game was never going to end
