Moala must have broken at least 20 tackles today

Clermont’s bench really showed in that game

What happens if conversion not scored, extra time?

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,710 ✭✭✭✭Clegg

    Wasps honestly blew that.

Don't expect Clermont to be as poor next week either. This was the time to knock them out.

    Nevermind!

Butchery from Wasps. A lineout in the Clermont 22 with minutes left. At that position you have to see it out.

Wasps talk about shooting yourself in the foot, face and body! Beyond dopey to give away that penalty with less then 60 seconds to go.

    Unbelievable ending.

Kibirige is 100% at fault for that try, what an absolutely daft decision to intentionally slap that pass down inside Clermont's own half and give them the penalty and leave your team a man down.

That's such a stupid knock on by the Wasps player

Dunno, Clermont had seemed to have men over on the outside. Wouldn't call it stupid, but it certainly didn't pay off.

Feel a bit sorry for Wasps. Thought there was a forward pass in the build up to that last try but there you go.

looked like a forward pass just before that last try

Was inside Clermont's half, they had men on the outside but it was far from a clear break. If it was inside Wasps 22 or something you'd say fair enough but they still had to go 50 or 60m.

Munster should beat that Clermont team anyway.

Wasps no one to blame but themselves

Can of worms: If Gopperth can still play at 37 then surely Sexton can.

Three absolutely cracking games so far. I've missed european rugby so much.

Leinster are away next round regardless of who wins, I believe.

Exeter aren't looking great here. Their grinding play is still very good, but they've been sloppy in defence and their set piece has wobbled.

  • Registered Users Posts: 21,605 ✭✭✭✭Squidgy Black

Lyon are throwing this away, Exeter have really stepped it up a level

    Is Tuisova injured?

Also didn’t know Liam Gill had left Lyon. Google said he left last May but doesn’t say where he went. Any one know? Probably in Japan.

You could make an argument for France having the 2 best hookers in the world between Marchant and Chat.

Great weekend of rugby to be honest, absolute quality.

Hugely disappointed the Leinster game was called off.
