What a penalty save that was from Bruno's penalty.

    Justice done

They’ll call it back to be retaken after the final whistle if they’re not ahead by then.

Can anyone tell me the actual rule? Is football not a contact sport? Seems like anytime there’s contact of the lower body, especially in the box, it’s a foul.

    Another great save!

    Unless it's offside first

What is Richarlison trying to claim here?

If it is what I think it is, he's not very 'sorry' anyways.

Hardly a good day for football after that performance of VAR, potentially two long term injuries to players from horrible challenges and the Augero incident.

A comment like that really tells you a lot about a poster.

He grabbed line woman by the back of the neck and it wasnt in a form of good sex-masochism (van gaal reference)

Not allowed to be happy when some people don't get their way. They are probably emotional so whatever they say shouldn't be taken seriously

Pool dropped points against 10 man everton and united won albeit with a bit of luck, Chelsea dropoed points as did arsenal. Great days results.

Re read his post, he clearly said a good day of football not for football!

    It was a strange day,
I don't think anyone really impressed and its could be a very close season.,
City in my opinion the only team capable of going on a long winning run,
Liverpool won't without Alisson and VVD

As a Liverpool fan I’m pretty happy with that United result actually. Keeps Ole ticking along in the job. He’d have been under real pressure had they not won.

Some people will have enjoyed today, some wont, although Arsenal fans wont be too upset getting better.

    Those the breaks I guess.

Mane play acting to get that free kick outside the box in the first half was hilarious. Was probably going to get a free anyway but that pretending he was hit was embarrassing.

I wouldn't be to sure about that,
Without VVD for the season and relying on Matip and Gomez to stay fit Liverpool will drop loads of points,
Don't forget Alisson won't be around for awhile yet either

    Watching MOTD

Pickford is a very lucky boy, not just for the VVD incident but the Henderson (non) goal at the end.

Brutal attempt to save the ball.

But he said good day of football, not for football?

I didn't watch the earlier games so have no idea what the Aguero incident was, couldn't care less about the injuries though I wish neither player any ill obviously and VAR is an absolute cluster**** that all teams are gonna have to deal with until they get it right or get rid of it.

From my point of view it was a good day of football anyway, United actually played well from start to finish (well, from 2 minutes on) and came away with a deserved win after a **** start to the season in general.

Was it a good day for football? No idea, but didn't see anyone claim it was?
