Nearly as good as the 3 points was Klopp calling out Keane for talking sh1te and showing he really isn't a great pundit and is only on Sky for shock value.

Missed that, have you a link? Was Roy in studio? :D

Will Firmino ever score at Anfield again

Are we forgetting the goal against Chelsea on the coronation day?

He was but he's since gotten a security escort to make sure he gets home safely.

A top of the table Merseyside Derby. Just like the old days. Brilliant.

Both teams playing well - will be a real test for Everton, havnt really enjoyed the derby since the 80's - some great games back then !

Parker’s not going to last long, on the verge of breaking into tears during his post match interview.

I would have thought you'd have enjoyed some of the ones in the 90s. Knocking us out of the FA cup, Joe Royle and his Dogs of War, Duncan Ferguson. God I hated playing Everton.

Fulham would be a good club for Rafa, Tony Khan likes to spend money and Rafa likes owners who like to spend money.

For the first time in a long long time looking forward to the Mersyside derby - if we keep our starting team fit we could make it more diffult than its been in awhile.

First game after the international break. Don't care who it is we're always awful in those games

Long, long season ahead. I still think City are going to be the team to beat and Chelsea will be right up there

growing up with Howard Kendals 80s team , football was played the right way , Royles Everton were dogged , but I didnt have the same love as I had back for the 80s team - winners playing the right way.

As Elneny actually completed a dribble, his stats are actually better. But there's a while lot of 0s in there again.

    Mins: 90
    Goals: 0
    Assists: 0
    Shots on target: 0
    Shots off target: 0
    Shots blocked: 0
    Dribble success: 100%
    Key passes: 0
    Accurate crosses: 0
    Interceptions: 2
    Caught offside: 0
    Possession lost: 4

How did the signing of the summer Willian play?

Just seen the Klopp/Keane so called clash on Sky News. Klopp heard one out of context word and went off on a rant, Keane said you need to listen to the whole clip in context and Klopp said OK I will. Much ado about nothing really.

Klopp used it to make a point. I thought he summed the game up really well. Rant or not he comes across honest in interviews like that.

Arteta also spoke very well I thought. Arsenal should give him time and I think they'll improve under him.

yeah it wasn't a big deal, the main thing I took from it was how furiously Klopp defends his team against criticism, at least when he feels it is unwarranted

And finally the one we’re all waiting for...did 72 million pound Pepe dribble past Van Dijk?

Insane transfer fee everytime I see it

Also where was Ozil tonight? They seem to pay him an awful lot of money not to sit on the bench.

I thought he'd have come on at 2-1 for sure

Yeah I like Arteta. He seems sound.

I think he will have Arsenal competing at the right end of the table this season and as a neutral I would have more faith in Arteta than Parker, Lampard or OGS in terms of the ex players as managers.
