Game Pass conversion rates have been nerfed:

"New" Ultimate subscribers — Core converts 2:1, PC converts 3:2, Standard converts 4:3, EA Play converts 3:1

Existing Ultimate subscribers — 3 months Core converts to 38 days, 3 months PC converts to 60 days, 3 months Console converts to 68 days

For Rewards redemptions, PC is now the cheapest way to get Ultimate but it's no longer a massive discount — 22,750 for 3 months PC converts to 60 days, which is only just cheaper than 24,000 for 2 separate months of Ultimate; and 3 redemptions of 3 months PC converts to 180 days for 68,250, which is only just cheaper than two redemptions of 3 months Ultimate for 70,000.

Starting to see reports on Reddit that there's a new play on PC weekly rolling out in a few markets. Currently out in Germany and Spain from the looks of things.

In exchange though, the play on PC daily will be nerfed down to +10 from +20 to match console.

They're shutting down the ambassador program. Have until mid October to claim any codes.

They say they are enhancing the rewards scheme as a result, but I'll believe that when I see it.

Only issue for me is I have 3 or 4 months of gpu codes, but because I signed up for my original gpu in Turkey, I may not be able to apply them to my account. Which would be annoying, especially as my gpu expires in early November.

It is appearing that the 15-minute search reward cooldowns are now back and being applied to every single user worldwide. Currently you can only get points for 4 searches, then must wait 15 minutes before the next search will count. This is going to make the 150-points from daily searches more of a chore to complete.

No 15 minute cooldown for me yet, maybe they haven't pressed the button. I did get it a few months ago though and it was pain in the arse. Went away after about a week.

I think yesterday might just have been bugged and everyone over on reddit just went a bit nuts. Mine seems back to normal again today.

The global cooldown seemed to go away when the day rolled over at midnight. Yesterday was still a bit sketchy though.

For existing Ultimate subscribers; PC Game Pass redemption is the cheapest, but only by a very small margin:

1. PC 3 months = 60 days Ultimate — 22750 points (379.2 points per day)
2. PC 1 month = 20 days Ultimate — 7750 points (387.5 points per day)
3. Ultimate 3 month = 90 days Ultimate — 35000 points (388.9 points per day)
4. Core 3 month = 38 days Ultimate — 15000 points (394.7 points per day)
5. Ultimate 1 month = 30 days Ultimate — 12000 points (400 points per day)
6. Core 1 month = 15 days Ultimate — 6800 points (453.3 points per day)

I have not done any calculations for those with expired subscriptions who want to stack up and do the upgrade conversion, since those ratios are different (2:1 Core; 3:2 PC; 4:3 Standard/Console)

Seeing that the new month of Game Pass Rewards rolled out overnight, despite Monday still having dailies, and the new month not being present at reset time last night.

Lot of people on Reddit who didn't manage to do the simple job of play+achieve on 18 out of 29 days for the 1000-point reward are throwing tantrums over it.

Where can you actually see when the month ends? I'm never 100% sure when it is. Generally the first or second Tuesday of the month.

The end date is explicitly listed in the Rewards app on Xbox consoles. On PC/mobile only, you're SOL.

It's generally a new Reward month on the first Tuesday of each calendar month. But it seems that when that first Tuesday is the 1st, it's sometimes skipped.

I still do the daily searches (almost out of habit at this stage) but keep telling myself it's not worth the effort anymore.. Used to be handy for the Amazon vouchers but the effort to even get to £50 these days

Between the dailies and xbox quests I seem to be able to get enough points each month or so for a £5 amazon gift card so it's just about worth it for me at least but it really is a chore to do the searches everyday.

I've been tipping away with rewards and gamepass quests and the like. Up to 100k points now, will keep tipping away with the aim being that whenever the next-box is released I'd have it covered day 1.

It is galling when you see what offers and how many additional options for earning rewards there are in other countries though.

Been doing the same. Made an effort up to 100k and tailed off then. Up to 118k now but don't put nearly the same effort in to get them. Hopefully will be up around the 200k mark by time they release new hardware. €200, roughly, off would be nice

Op here ... I remember back in the day... Rewards used tobe about playing new games.. now they've turned us into click farms

The additional activities on the rewards site have now dropped to 2 points (from 5), and the special locked ones that only appear Mondays have dropped to 5 (from 15).
