Did anyone see the white lives matter banner that was flown over burnley v city game... It's been condemned as disgusting and racist , and legal action being taken against those that put those words up, they ll also be banned for life.

Apparently two things can't be true at the same time anymore , it's weird to see people be offended by the words white lives matter I mean why would it bother anyone it's really weird logic.

It begs the question are you racist if you say any lives other than black ones matter ?

This whole business of wanting to pull down historic statues and deface wall plaques will fade out in another week or so .....

Best put hoarding around all historic statues under threat till the storm passes, then evaluate them to see if there are grounds to have them permanently removed, or not.

If the only reason anyone wants to say all lives matter or white lives matter is because someone else said black lives matter then I am calling utter bull on white lives matter actually being the message anyone wants to send.

Imagine going to a kids funeral and screaming all kids lives matter to the parents when they say their child was special? No one would believe that the person doing it cared about all children. The people would rightly believe the person was just attacking the mourners.

Or someone starts screaming that people who get heart attacks matter too at a cancer fundraiser. Do we believe that person legitimately cares about people who get heart attacks or are they just trying to be a dick to cancer patients and those who care about them? What they said isn't wrong, people who get heart attacks do matter but of course everyone would know that isn't what is meant.

You can play thick if you like. No one is buying it. No one is buying that those who organised that plane give a flying F about any white lives except themselves and potentially their family.

Absolutely, some people are blowing this all out of proportion. There have been a few riots that hardly heralds the end of civilization as we know.

I hope these protests result in some Police reform in the states, and get more people politically engaged there, but it is going to have very little impact on our lives here.

If we have to cope with a message from SKY about a particular movie, I certainly have Bigger issues in my life to worry about.

This will soon all be largely forgotten here.
