Call sign will be SAM9000 or similar. (special air mission)
His time as president ends at 12pm as per the US constitution.

Yeah I think it has to be airborne before 12pm for him to be allowed to use it for one last flight. But the bet is 'Where will Trump be at 12pm EST on 20th Jan' and I went with Florida at evens. Scotland was 10/1, Ireland 100/1 but Florida the obvious pick, he will like be at his golf course as Biden id getting sworn in. When I laid it all indications were he would depart tonight but that has since changed. Given its Paddy Power I want him on the ground in Florida rather than just in Florida airspace. I need it to be taking off by 9.30am EST to stand a chance of that happening and his farewell reception begins at the military airfield at 8am. Hopefully he doesnt hang around long for it but theres rumours of a 21 gun salute and military parade so it will be tight.

Was reading that one set of the nuclear codes will be on the plane and another set close to Biden. At 12pm the set on Air Force 1 will deactivate and the set in Washington takes over.

cheers, will use that site. Would the call sign be USAF1? Not even sure yet if it will make it to land in Palm Beach Florida by 12pm but hoping so to win the bet. Its set to depart a military airfield in Maryland after an 8am farewell reception so its all on how long he stays at the reception for, hopefully not too long! I believe Maryland to Palm Beach, Flordia is some 1,000 odd miles so about 2.5 hours flying time.

There's a SAM flight which departed Andrews and looks to be on the way to Florida, but it's only a Gulfstream; hardly large enough for the egos from Washington?

Low possibility of 21 gun salute or a military parade.

He is onboard and the doors are closed, should be airborne within 20 mins.
Looks like you are good. (currently 8.55am EST)

They have a K35R (refueling tanker) and another hellicopter circling Andrews' to make sure he departs (on time).

I must have missed it earlier as the ADSB feeds appeared jumpy around Washington for a time.

ah brilliant :D I only had 20 quid on it but its always nice to beat the bookies regardless of winnings. I was more concerned that he would go on some long rant of a speech at Andrews Airbase and it would be delayed. Thankfully not :)

He said it was evens, not bad considering it was widely reported he was going to Florida.

Antonov An-12BK tracking West just about to start heading over the UK.
To my very untrained Eye, it could be on the way to Dublin or West of England.

He said it was evens, not bad considering it was widely reported he was going to Florida.

Yeah it was at evens three weeks back but at the time I laid the bet it was also the around the time that there were online articles about US secret service activity at a Scottish airport near to his golf course over there, media speculation was rife that he might go golfing in Scotland. I was nearly getting convinced by it myself but had a rethink. Soon after Nicola Sturgeon came out and said playing golf is not an essential activity and basically that he wasnt welcome there during a pandemic.

Florida and Mar a Lago was always his most likely destination anyway, he spent practically every weekend there during his presidency. After I laid it the odds went down to 4/7 about a week later and then on the 17th they went down again to 1/10. The bet then really became about if he would make it to Florida by 12pm which thankfully he did with an hour to spare.

Anyway thanks to all for the help & info :)
