I'm sort of steady as she goes, never really fluctuate.

First they came for the socialists...

Neither, as far as I'm aware(never owned a scales). No change in my eating habits anyway, so that's probably it. I've not much of an appetite in general.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

I was surprised when I got on the scales this morning to find I'm holding my own at 95kgs (I'm 6'3"). With all the extra time I'm cooking and baking a lot more, lots of new challenging recipes. I do get out for a 80 to 90 minute walk most days and a bit of physical exercise on the gardening front.

I haven’t been monitoring but I definitely am not getting enough exercise and I’ll have to make an effort on that as I really noticed it when I went for a short walk, a couple of km and really felt it both during and afterwards.

I have NEVER felt that unfit before. Really shocked me and I have to make some serious effort to gently put it right again.

For the first couple of weeks of this lockdown I just didn’t go out and somewhat messed up my body clock.

In terms of food I’m probably eating a *lot* less junk. I would normally have been picking up sandwiches and coffee etc - I’m down to basically just breakfast, maybe a bit of fruit for lunch and very healthy dinners, with a big focus on veg.

I've lost 8kg over the last month. Stressful time in the hospital.

Really sorry to hear. Hope you / your loved ones are out of the woods.
Its awful :( I rarely talk about my body image issues and relationship with food. I totally get how hard it is for you. Something which has really been highlighted for me is that my motivation to stay slim is based on external factors rather than for my own self.

Also my attitude towards what I eat is completely skewed. Rationally I know what's healthy and what isn't but my focus tends to be more on weight loss and maintenance rather than eating well. A lot of days eating rubbish and then days of eating hardly anything at all. Sigh.

This crisis may give you some new insights in to your relationship with food and then you can try and get to the bottom of it, but I've a feeling you are plenty self aware as it is. So its that age old conundrum of knowing versus feeling.

Sorry to hear of your struggle Persepoly. It's really hard alright. I fought hard over years to have a "routine" with food, because past issues mean it's not as easy for me to wing it, I just end up resorting to old destructive ways. Food is so emotive and complicated for me.

I flit between not eating enough versus eating too much and focusing on calories rather than health and oh wait, am I actually hungry etc etc. You're right though - I think these days indoors give all of us the chance to look closely at things that we otherwise ignore.

Losing a bit, calling it the Covid Diet. If it's not in the house, I can't eat it.

I’m calling it the Covid Stone :-(

Not seeing people has lifted weight off my shoulders, improved my mental health no end.

No one to run me down or belittle me so my mind is clearer to focus on things I like and enjoy

Physically, probably the same. Walking laps around my 2km for two hours a day. Hadn't drank in 4 weeks. Absolutely destroyed two bottles of whiskey at the weekend and ate a LOT of Chickatees

Down 6KGs in the past 6 weeks, mainly from cutting out sweets and bread.

I’ve lost weight, but that’s due to making an effort to eat less and move more. I’m using an activity and meal tracker app to guide me and it seems to be working well so far. I’m not obsessive over it but I don’t want to fall into a trap of eating too much because there’s nothing else to do.

I’m still working but doing longer shifts so have to put in more work to make sure I eat properly.

It helps that none of the takeaways in the closest village deliver to where I live and I won’t travel into the village just for a takeaway.

Sorry, I should clear this up. I work in hospital, have managed to avoid contracting COVID-19 (or at least stay asymptomatic) over the last month. Weight loss has been due to long hours and loss of appetite.

One thing I've noticed is that I'm pissing a lot more now. I probably wasn't drinking enough water in work.

Eating and drinking everything, but thanks to the miracle of nursing a baby I'm not putting on anything.

Gained quite a few kg unfortunately.

Trying to reduce the amount of junk I'm eating and get outside for walks more. Spent the first two weeks of lockdown stuffing my face and watching TV constantly.

I ran down the stairs this morning and my belly is still wobbling from it.
So yeah - definitely put on a pound or two.

    😂😂😂 same!

Losing. 6 ft 1/2 ish, so I've been easily hiding 3 extra stone for years. Been going at it hard with MyFitnessPal for the last few weeks, really eye opening to see what I can comfortably l can live on calorie wise.

Nope, I've lost weight running every 6 out of 7 days. I'm going to leave a very fit looking corpse behind.

I put on 4 kilos in the last month. I was on my feet all day in my job, so I was burning calories through that. Now I'm sitting down all day and eating more

    Eight cans of stout..............

Lost 7 lbs since the middle of March.

    Quite the surprise to me!

I've lost 2kg in the last couple of weeks. This may not seem like much but I am quite petite so I can really see the difference. Starting to see some muscle definition come through again which I am delighted with. I would have been in the gym and into weightlifting before all of this anyway so I am quite fit to start with. I do a 30 minute intense tabata workout 5 or 6 days a week, and walk a few miles every day with the dog.

Prior to the pandemic, I went through a really rough time and had started down an emotional eating rabbit hole. I had less motivation to stay active and go the gym. I have really settled into a good routine since the lockdown took over and have seen and felt huge changes in my mental and physical health, thankfully. It's been like a reset button for me to get back to my usual habits.

Hoping to emerge from this semi-ripped ;)
