This time it's Wrestling Theme Tunes up for the big debate!

62 of the best of the best, the cream of the crop will battle it out as you all determine the best EVER...

So will it be 'Basic Thuganomics' for your favourite song?

Or perhaps Real American will once again reign supreme.

Indeed, maybe the Glass will Shatter and it will be My Time...

Or could it be the Cult of Personality that wins out?

Ok ok I'll stop.


The rules are simple.

I will provide you with the tournament matches and you will vote on them.

Reasons for your choices are preferred, but not mandatory until the quarter finals.

The first two rounds will be first to 6 votes to progress, or most votes after an hour has passed (or when I get a chance to look at it again :P)

Dusty Rhodes - Common Man Boogie (A fantastic theme, that i often listen to just randomly at home. Catchy and upbeat)

Triple H - King of Kings (Just a generally great theme, Sheamus' theme doesn't compare at all)

Shane O Mac - Here Comes The Money (As with Dusty Rhodes, just a catchy upbeat song, and elicits a great crowd reaction)

I was instinctively going to vote for Kevin Owens over the DIY lads, as I'd never even heard of them before, let alone their theme music. :P


But I gave it a whirl and I reckon it's much better than Owens' theme.


My issue is when I'm voting, i find it hard to decide with myself, am I voting for a song, that is catchy and better than the pop stuff out at the moment, or am I voting for a theme, that gets a crowd pop and has an emotional investment from me by being attached to a particular wrestler.


It can be hard to find the right line to straddle (but I love WWE theme music, moreso than the rasslin' action itself many times, so I'm perhaps overthinking it!)

Limp Bizkit - Rollin'! As much as I likes Austin, american badass was my favourite Undertaker as a kid and I also liked Limp Bizkit

For me it has to be Stone Cold's theme tune. Rollin' is a great track, but the sudden glass shattering is just too significant in this case.

I always liked You're Gonna Pay. I believe many people don't/didn't like it (perhaps just didn't like the character it was associated with?) but I always thought the song itself was great. Pity he didn't use that at Mania just gone.

Found this one the toughest to pick between, of all the matches so far. Nexus edges it, but just by chance.


Man With A Plan - The Brian Kendrick VS Eric Bischoff - I'm Back
I love the Man With A Plan theme. I think it's class. Kendrick's obnoxious walk to the ring is a nice plus, too. Theme always reminds me of the time he managed to start working his way into the main events and ended up in the 'six man scramble' match for the belt - a place I never thought Kendrick would get to (and I'm not a particularly big fan of him, to be honest, but he was pretty good around then)
