No they don't sell as much Irish reg stuff as they do uk but they don't have any problem taking Irish.. they don't offer money with every car only a select few towards insurance or vrt or whatever.. I remember a while back a fella in my area won two uk reg cars and was able to get them sold to a dealer for the cash so he would of made around €60/€70k on maybe £40

That is mental! Was the dealer in the republic?

I seen a comment yesterday where someone had spent over £2k on tickets and was still no better off

I’ve spent that on my work lotto over the last 10 years. Still working away. No lotto win.

    Same principles apply.

It seems they search both the UK and Ireland and if they see a car they know will be popular in a raffle they make an offer for it. They don't care which country the car is registered in. All they do is look for ones they think will sell tickets fast.
Since most of their customers are in Ireland they often include £2k in with the prize if VRT needs to be paid. This makes little difference to their profits as cars tend to be cheaper in the UK.

How many years have R Kings been holding raffless?

They’re going at least 12 months.

There’s been a serious amount of Donegal winners recently. I now know 4 people who have won cars.

Its bloody addictive. Only interested in older stuff. Entered draw for RS2000 recently. & missed another MK2 Escort.
Find myself lookin a few times per day to see what they've up for raffle. VRT on some of the modern powerful stuff would be crippling & not worth the effort for me.

    Unless you could sell them.

Some of the stuff goes very quick. Missed the MSport X5 yesterday.

€5 an entry and 290 entries available for a jaysis 407 with no tax or test.

Do you know if there was free entries for that raffle I wouldnt stick my name down.

That'd be some yoke to be beached taking up space in your front yard.

There is, they legally must provide a method of free entry.

What's the story with the raffle end time? Say only 10 people enter at a fiver an entry, does the car get rafdled anyway (surely not?) or do you get your fiver back or what?

It's Ireland, a tiny country. Everyone knows a fella.

Sounds like the sales patter for those chain letter things that did the rounds when I was a student...'I know a fella made a 100,000 out of it'. :D

I think people are scoping the website, there's been a few raffles where they've gone sold out without even been on Facebook

That's the point, the tickets are all gone. No free entry.
Why would you expect a free entry!

I'm entitled to free entry by law. You make it seem like they are trying to bypass the law.

They're abiding by the rules, not their fault you can't get a letter to them on time.

Another RS2000 up now, doesn't look as nice as the red one they had the other day though

They have a Lamborghini coming up. Possibly tomorrow.

Did a quick VRT check on that MSport X5. Serious money (for me anyway).

    Didn't bother.

Not if all the tickets are sold before your free attempt is received, you aren't
