I'm just happy that you used the word have instead of the word of.

Anyone writing “should of” instead of “should’ve” should have the Guards on top of them like a ton of bricks. Trumped up charges, no trial, the works. The Curragh Internment Camp is too good for them.

"should of the Guards on top of them", surely?

    They should of course.

Glad to see we are agreed that some cyclists can be selfish tossers with a sense of entitlement. And no I wont be taking photos of them but they are back out again today hill climbing in the mountains in numbers. Like yourself they just dont get that we are in a public health emergency.

Who do they think they are? Keeping themselves fit and healthy at a time of a public health crisis. It's mad, Joe.

    Still no photos, no?

It’s not one rule for that shower and another for everyone else. They could keep themselves fit within the 2km instead of being entitled twats and it’s just yet another reason they’re despised by normal people.

see there you go again Andrew, they are hill climbing up mountains and are not within 2km of their house. Of course in your fantasy world there is absolutely no way cyclists could ever do anything wrong or behave selfishly. Well I can look out my window and see that that isnt true, cyclists have no business being up mountains during the current restrictions. Just because your fundamentalist thinking cant see that doesnt mean it is not true.

In Andrews world cyclists are special and can never do any wrong. This is a poster who goes into the motoring forum lecturing posters about cyclists like a nagging wife. Now he is on here trying to justify cyclists breaking the 2km restrictions, hes just as high and mighty as the cyclists Im seeing hilling climbing in the mountains. Complete sense of entitlement about them and selfish in nature while the rest of us are obeying the restrictions so we might have some chance of getting out of this lockdown.

What difference does it make to virus spread whether they stay within the 2km radius or not?

Gwan there and take a photo or two out of the window. It would be great to see them first hand.

Are you attracted to men in tight Lycra or something? You must have requested pictures 3 or 4 times now. You must have a fetish for sweaty men on bicycles.

They’re not allowed, black and white, plain and simple. Just because you have a bone for all things cycling doesn’t mean you can just pick out the parts and change them to suit yourself.

I'm seeing so many more out going for long cycles, in full gear.

So no difference then. Didn't think so.

In fairness, it wasn't me who brought up their clothing and their muscular physique.

The regulations don't restrict the length of the cycle or the gear worn, funnily enough.

But how do you know what length of cycle they are going for?

The pikeys should not be classed Irish citizens, we don’t call rats or the cv19 Irish citizens and pikeys are below both of them.

I've a doctor neighbour that cycles to work on a road bike wearing his proper cycling gear. Also, some hospital workers don't get paid a huge amount of money (porters, carers and some nurses) and have taken to bikes to avoid public transport.

So just think before you're enraged while you're out driving and give them lots of space. There's been a few instances reported of medical staff being abused and close passed by vigilante, opinionated drivers.

I've noticed that too. And the idea a front line worker would be arsed standing in front of the mirror to don the full tour de france outfit before cycling in for a long shift at work is bull****. They have more important things on their mind that fantasising about Stephen Roches glory year.

This might come as a surprise to you, but it definitely is possible to put on lycra without standing in front of the mirror or dreaming about Stephen Roche.

If you don't believe me, just ask any of the many people who wear lycra for jogging or for football or just for going shopping.

LOL. I didn't mention lycra but I have yet to see anyone walking around Lidl in the full cycling regalia.

nah Andrew, Im not a Walter Mitty character like yourself. I'm telling you Im seeing groups of cyclists hill climbing mountains in the area where I live where they have absolutely no business being under the current restrictions. They're not from the area and are well outside the 2km restriction. Saw at least 70 of them pass by over the last two days. Are you trying to justify that, yes or no?

Of course he’ll justify it. In his mind (and most of their minds) cyclists are untouchable, so whatever they do is justified.

So what exactly did you mean by 'full Tour de France outfit' other than the same kind of lycra gear worn by half the females under 60 that you see in Lidl?

I'm trying to validate that, which is proving quite difficult.

I have had that poster on ignore for a long time as it’s not worth giving his posts the reaction he so desperately craves.

Live on a major cycling route and they are back out in force. I’ve noticed the numbers have been steadily climbing through last week. Those doing loops are obvious because they pass a few times. The rest are just selfish arseholes. It’s not surprising given the sense of entitlement so many cyclists displayed prior to the pandemic and I say that as a regular but casual cyclist myself.
