    Bam Bam

for a man his size to do a moonsault was insane

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,358 ✭✭✭✭Kolido

Bossman was very gimmicky, but probably had a better run overall than Bam Bam.

However, the beast from the east was a great wrestler for his size and had an great appearance. Not the best promo but there you go.

    BAM BAM

Bam Bam Bigelow for me, probably one the best athletic big men ever, had some excellant matches and carried LT to a fairly decent match at Wrestlemania 11

Bossman you could set your watch by his haircut

Bam Bam was a real wrestler not a gimmick. Add in all his success in Japan and he is an easy winner.

I'm cheering for Boss Man but...

    Bam Bam just shades it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

Bam Bam takes this one. I'd maybe consider that an upset victory! Hold tight for the next bout.

Bossman could have been a really cheesy gimmick, but the man really made it work.

Most of BAM BAMs success was outside of my viewing time so it might be my own bias.

Again, neither of these going to win overall.

    Bossman for now.

Razor/Scott Hall was amazing overall but cmon, the texas rattlesnake

Razor is unfortunate in this drawing, if he was against bossman, bam bam, warrior or kane, i would have given it to razor all day.

Razors edge was a great finisher too, i still perform it on my 5 year old frequently. (but vs a stone cold stunner? that might have to wait until my son is taller)

Stone Cold was the best during an amazing era of wrestlers, totally fitting with the time, antihero badass.

I honestly prefer a comic heel, but no one can doubt how awesome stone cold was as a character.

even if he did start out as the million dollar mans ringmaster.

If ever there was an argument to be made for baldness, here it is.

    Stone Cold all the way.

Stone Cold Steve Austin for me here, as he's just another of those icons of his era and a household name - I'd say even my Granny would know Stone Cold Steve Austin is a Wrestler, and she knows sweet feck all about pop culture or sports entertainment.

Razor ramon for me. Never got into stone cold and razor was so suave and a great wrestler for me. Great memories

    Stone cold Steve Austin.
That's the bottom line cos Stone Cold said so.

Unfortunate pairing here. Razor was great in the ring and on the mic. His promo for his title match against Bret at RR93 was some of his best in the wwf. Great in ring moves, he made the abdominal stretch look killer. Arguably made the ladder match infamous, with help from Shawn of course, and no one remembers the Bret vs Shawn ladder match.

I say unfortunate, because he is up against Stone Cold. I was never much of a fan of him at the time but in hindsight, he changed the face of wrestling. His epic feud with Vince is possibly one of the best of all time. I will have to go with my head here and give it to 3.16

    STONE COLD

Even as a 7 year old I didn’t really get the hogan thing I never enjoyed his character at all. That said I’ve always enjoyed a good heel.

Stone Cold progresses into the quarter finals. Who's gonna join him next? It's a tag team match to determine that coming up....

I have to say I totally bought into him as a kid.

looking back he is fairly cringe. great heel turn with the NWO, love the bleached tash on black stubble.

in hindsight randy savage was twice the entertainer that the hulkster was. but you know as a kid...

as I say, Kurt Angle is my favourite of all time, a man who just was never allowed be a face, from a pompous comedy heel with the skills to back it up to a genuine tough dude, great run.

totally didn't appreciate mr perfect at the time either, i was mad for the hitman.
