    Those store's are averaging circa €2 a kilo, would they be back much more than €50 a piece? I haven't stood in a mart since the weekend but I thought the trade was holding up better than I'd have expected. It's definitely more of a buyer's market atm, lots of seller's panicking at least over the weekend.

    I see no value in those WH x fr cross.
    I killed a batch recently. Sample of two below.

    O= @fat score 4 came to €1108 291kg

    O= @ fat score 4 came to €1053. 271kg

    Ok fat score high but can't see how keeping and feeding ones above for 3 or 4 months would make money.

    23 months old.

    These are growthy cattle out of proper fresian cows with good confirmation

    Will be disappointed if they don’t kill 375 when they are ready. Should grade well

    They’ll do well

    We’re going for a different kind of system to you
    Edit: just see yours are heifers. These are 2 year old bullocks

    If they were good empty stores that will grow at grass, They could put on 160 kgs by early August. That would me. A 340+ kgs killout. Problem is price. But a 3.6base with an R/O+ would leave them at 1300/ head. However even a 330kg DW and an O+ grade at same base would leave them averaging 1250. Problem is that could be an optimist base price with cronovirus.

    Marts in particular would be a concern due to the demographics. At the best of days it’s a massive collection of auld fellas coughing and wheezing jammed in round the ring.

    That comment is racist against ould fellas :D
