    13.30 Allmankind and Aspire Tower
14.10 Aramon for the Ara double hup!
14.50 Latest Exhibition and Redford Road EW
15.30 I hate watching the Gold Cup as I am usually stressed too much to watch it properly. I've LIT and Kemboy and both look like shocking bets now so I'm happy enough to just sit back, hope for a miracle and hope Al Boum, Delta Work and Santini have a cracker.
    16.10 Billaway and Staker Wallace
16.50 Lisp and Eclair De Beaufeu
17.30 Front View and The Bosses Oscar

Have some lovely prices tomorrow and some equally shocking ones, notably for the Gold Cup which is a pain but happy enough to let things fly now.

The finale is here. Suffering from major seconditis last few days with a few winners.

13:30 - Solo tentative choice in what looks a strong renewal. Would love to see a star emerge from this race. Badly needed.
14:10 - Stolen Silver staying on well in the Betfair. Should enjoy conditions here much better.
14:50 - Latest Exhibition if he was trained by one of the big guns he'd be half the price. Oscar's have a great record in this race.
15:30 - Santini to outstay them all up the hill
    16:10 - No Idea
16:50 - Two Taffs for a bit of value. Genuine sort who rarely runs a bad race.
17:30 - Front View same connections as last years winner. Going to do a fun JP R/F with him and Ilikedwayurthinkin. Would be a perfect ending to a great festival for him.

    Best of luck to everyone!!

Gold Cup big one for me tomorrow.

EW double on Min/Al Boum Photo
EW double on Envoi Allen/Al Boum Photo
EW treble on Envoi Allen/Min/Al Boum Photo
Skybet request a bet on Envoi Allen,Min and either Lostintranslation or Al Boum Photo

Potential returns if ABP wins 297points

    Then

EW singles on Lostintranslation at 25s, 16s and 7s.
EW double Clan Des Obeaux for the King George/Lostintranslation Gold Cup double
    Aforementioned Skybet request a bet.

Potential returns if Lostintranslation wins 358points.

    Aspire Tower
    Thyme Hill
    Kemboy

for me in singles and a treble.

I like the cut of Chris's Dream's jib so worth a little E/W investment in the Gold Cup. I'm gonna have to abandon Blackmore in this one as I couldn't in good conscience back Monalee. Pity she's not on the Dream.

Soft, good to soft in places.

Soft, good to soft will suit Delta, not sure who else tho

CDO and LIT you'd imagine although most of the field shouldn't mind it too much at all.

Have Aspire Tower backed ante. Will do a saver on Goshen (offer with PP) . Clan Des Obeaux ew for Gold Cup.

Santini wouldn't want it too good

A Santini win puts me ahead for the week. But I could have said the same of notebook or Defi. Fair warning on my luck, so far, all. As it stands I'm behind.

    1.30 Goshen
2.10 Aramon/ You raise me up
    2.50 Last Exhibition
    3.30 Lost In Translation
    4.10 Hazel Hill
    4.50 Chosen Mate
    5.30 Pileon/Espoir De Romay

Bar Goshen (win) ,I'll be on all the above e.w. ,in singles or more.

    GL all.

Allmankind for me too today. Course form and for me has better form than Goshen

  • Registered Users Posts: 821 ✭✭✭Coneygree

I think Goshen could very easily do an Our Conor and destroy this field but his jumping forces me to put a line through him completely. Plenty there with stamina, notably AMK and plenty there to set the pace too. Goshen tends to jump like a complete dope towards the end of the race and although there isn't much jumping towards the end of the race, the quality here is like nothing he's been up against and you'd wonder how he fares with that pressure. He looks like some tool though, very exciting.

The final day nerves of whether the week will be break even, a loss or a win are hitting in, and I'm hedging my bets with two selections in a lot of races. Probably not the best way to go for preserving profit, but I was a few whiskeys deep doing my selections last night.

    13:30 - Goshen
14:10 - Ciel De Neige - (I wanted this EW but my free bets f**ked up my ability to edit it, let's go with the win here anyway.)
    14:10 - Moon Over Germany - EW
    14:50 - Cobbler's Way - EW
    14:50 - Sempo - EW
    15:30 - Al Boum Photo
    15:30 - Monalee - EW
    16:10 - Hazel Hill
    16:10 - Law of Gold - EW

Joseph O Brien could have a good day, he has a few with chances. Wave of the Sea & Us and Them in good order and should run well so worth a punt EW.
Sticking with Al Boum for the big one. Very big chance of retaining this and I think the light almost anonymous campaign, whilst works for the horse, has meant it has not captured the love of the public.

Decent week, will break even at worst which is always good

    1.30 A wave of the seas e/w
2.10 Saint Roi e/w, but seems to be money for JP's other horse now
    2.50 Fury Road e/w
    3.30 Delta Work e/w
    4.10 Striker Wallace e/w
    4.50 Chosen Mate e/w
    5.30 Escaria Ten e/w

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,133 ✭✭✭akelly02

broke even yesterday, not too bad. needed le breuil to place but he was nowhere

    todays picks

    1.30 sir psycho

very sweet on this fella, superb jumper and i think he will rattle these big guns .

    2.10 saint roi
    the geraghty factor here

    2.50 thyme hill
solid chance here in an open race

3.30 clan des obeaux and lostintranslation
both would be more confident picks if ground rode quick

    4.10 hazel hill
    to repeat last years romp

    4.50 chosen mate
purely because he was a charity bet at a preview night, and he was attracting support

    5.30 front view
frank berrys charity bet , jon joe riding, say no more.

    best of luck everyone !!

Aspire Tower in the opener. Was impressive in Christmas and took a tumble at the last at the DRF when on the way to winning.

    Thatsy e/w in the 2nd.

Sempo e/w in the 3rd for small money.

Clan Des Obeaux in the Cup.

Shantou Flyer in the Foxhunter (my favourite race of the week for an old fùck it bet).

Paloma Blue e/w in the next.

It’s a tough day for picking winners.

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,379 ✭✭✭hefferboi

Decent week also, I'll break even if I get no winner today.

13.30: Goshen 3/1 - Biggest bet of the week
14.10: No Bet yet - Stuck between Saint Roi & Stolen Silver
    14.50: Fury Road 8/1
    15.30: Al Boum Photo 10/3
    16.10: Staker Wallace 7/1
    16.50: No Bet
    17.30: Pileon 8/1

    Best of luck all!

    And stay safe out there.

    Aspire Tower
    Delta Work
Hazel Hill my 3 big bets

Danny Mulins was very negative on Monkfish on the podcast
    Ruby against him too
Eddie very positive on Fury Road, Keith Donoghue also very strong on him
    With all that in mind.....
    Thyme Hill it is!

  • Registered Users Posts: 858 ✭✭✭Plasandrunt

    Allmankind
    Aramon
    Ramsees De Telles
    Al Boum Photo, Lostintranslation

Nowt backed in the final 3 yet but don't think I can resist small stake on Don Poli in the foxhunters

    1.30 goshen
    2.10 thatsy

    3.30 clan des obeaux
    4.10 shantou flyer
    4.50 eclair de beaufeau
    5.30 column of fire

Had a good week, tuesday was frustarting but ok, Wednesday aramax made it profitable and yesterday was my best ever day for picking winners at Cheltenham, hopefully the upward trend of my week continues.
