The only thing this woman can do is take all reasonable precautions. She cant control what others do or dont do about spreading the virus.

Yeah, I remember it all so well, and going up to HSE in Dundrum to get the vaccine. I had full influenza 4 times in total, last one in 1988 I think.

The daughter has CF.. how many visitors does she get? My gas meter gets more visitors a month than I do.

You'd swear Leah was inundated with visitors.

She has Cerebral Palsy I think, and now pulmonary fibrosis which is lung scarring from the influenza.

My husband was sent to hosp with an urgent referral due to suspected perforated stomach and possible internal bleeding.

He was still left on a trolley for 8 hours.

That’s how GP referrals work here Meeeeshell.

Unless you’re actually half dead or dying you won’t get preferential treatment.

I got vaccinated against flu for the first time about 20 years ago. The site of the injection swelled up and got infected, (cellulitis). I was on antibiotics for two weeks and I still have skin damage on my arm.
I’ve never had a vaccine since. I’ve never had the flu either.
