*1 array was down for 4 days at the start of the month, so would have broken the 400 i would estimate

still havent broke the 20kWh mark yet, what i wouldnt give to have the room to have a west pointing array

    May Stats
    6.2kWp (2.8 south/3.4 west), 4.8kWh battery, Zappi & Eddi – Donegal

    Generation – 772.2kWh
    Export – 83.4kWh
    Import – 263.5kWh

    Best day - 26th, 43.1kWh
    Worst day - 20th, 5.0kWh

Another good month, I had predicted 710 so ended up on about 108% of that. My initial 12 month projection was 4,877kWh and I've done 3,474kWh so far with June & July left. If I hit target in those 2 months I'll end up on almost exactly the target. However with April and May both passing target by 112 and 62kWh respectively, I might just crack the 5k for the calendar year.

A fairly cloudy May in the South East 6kwh system no battery. Good end to the month though. Less oil use in May meant a lot more green energy used to heat the water

17.5kWh still the highest figure for any one day, looking at the graph - there is a bit more possible!

May, central Texas. Only four cloudless days, but still managed to exceed APR production, with 1.2 MWh. 1.6 consumed, net import of 362.5. 39% of my power was consumed at time of solar generation, the rest was offset to the grid.

    May Prediction 960kwh

    8.64kWp on a 6kw inverter,
    12 degree roof, NE/SW 50:50
    10kwh Battery storage

Seeing a flat top on the curve on the good days, now, was generating at 6kw from about 11:30 - 3pm

The JRC prediction is pretty close, its only 50kwhs out and over a month its hardly 2kwh/day.

    Generation : 1114.3kWh
    Solar Used Directly : 287.5kWh - €44.28
    Solar Used Nightrate : 50.7kWh - €3.75
    Battery Charged : 311.7kWh
    Battery Discharged Day : 153.9kWh - €39.01
    Battery Discharge Night : 99.4kWh - €7.36
    EVSE Divert : 179.6kWh - €13.29
    Battery Discharged From Grid Charging : 0kWh - €0
    Export : 284.8kWh
    Total Savings : €103.94

Still using the 15c/7.4 night rate

My total savings are inflated, as nothing is currently running overnight.

Letting the battery discharge on nightrate as I have no problem filling the battery enough to get me to midnight even on poor days (in summer anyway)

highest day was 53.6, lowest was 13.7.

    June prediction 941kwh

This is Texas. As they say, everything is bigger in Texas. Part of the reason we moved here, much more house for the same amount of money.
It's a 380sqm house, mainly one floor. The upstairs is about 100sqm, it's basically the playroom and guest room, so only gets limited air conditioning unless occupied. There are 32 REC 360 panels taking up pretty much all the useful space on the roof, to the point that two of them are not entirely efficient.

However, when there's a two-month stretch of 40degree days straight, even 'limited' air conditioning is going to involve a fair bit of work. I'm hoping for a bit of a reduction this year, as I had to replace the previous nearly 20-year-old air conditioner upstairs. Cost over $12k, so I am seriously hoping the two main aircon units last longer, but in the meantime, it should be more efficient than the previous one.

Anyway, the bottom line is that energy usage around here is much, much higher in summer than in winter, which happily correlates with solar generation. Unfortunately, electricity from the grid is also very cheap, which makes payback times a bear.

Actually, now I'm looking, my bill just kicked in (It's a few days off from calendar month, so the figure's a bit different)

    555262.PNG

Solar was installed in March, figures after that are chargable from the grid, not toal consumption. We've had quite a cool May, but still, that defective aircon unit seems to have used no small amount of power last year, trying to keep up.

As amassing as all this is but can we keep this on track, its hard enough getting info for Ireland.

6kw south facing ground mount too in south Wexford 974kWh for the month of May

Where do you find total on grid export?

My export is 373kw ( had to total up in excel spreadsheet) That's 38% of total generation given away for free, roll on the FIT..

And that is after charging a 10kw battery most days too.
