Might be working on 5 hours sleep but I'll be ****ed if I'm missing this. £34 for a NowTV spots pass for the month seems like good value (not an offer or anything). Isn't sky sports about £40 on top of your normal sky package?

They have Sky Sports reduced to €25 at the moment as an addon for TV packages.

Breakdown is definitely gonna be interesting, the way they're policing it. A lot of backs rely on crawling on the ground, laying an egg etc to buy some time until support gets in. Looks like that won't be happening any more.

    Great try!!

Seen a red for that lots of times... Though there's a little bit of an actual jump from the chiefs player too

Tough gig for the ref implementing new rules but he’s being consistent, doesn’t take much time over the ball to win a jackal.
I think McKenzie, who is probably the smallest on the pitch and half the size of many has two turnovers already.

Yes!!! That's a big try just before half time.

How good is it to be watching live rugby again.

The last twenty minutes will be interesting when match fitness or lack of start to show. Who has been keeping their home fitness up and who has been eating celebrations and watching tiger king.

It's gonna take a while for the players to get to grips with the much stricter breakdown enforcement.

It will make for a faster better game

Safer too, good to see the jackal turnovers awarded immediately rather than having a guy hanging in there for five seconds getting smashed.

Anything that rids the game of the side ways clear out and the torpedo shoulders... I am all for.

That’a property dumb. Jumping in, eyes closed, arms down, with the shoulder.

He’s lucky MacKenzie bumped into him on the way down as it seemed to stop him rotating round further.

Fcuk sake jona, that was needless

  • Subscribers Posts: 41,076 ✭✭✭✭sydthebeat

That was a very lucky penalty for us.

Dillon hunt only had one hand on that

Looks to me like the enforcement of the breakdown rules favours the defending team, will be interesting to see what the stats say but favouring the defending team has a bad impact on the attractiveness of the game, it favours teams who have good defense and set piece, and makes running rugby more of a liability.

Penalty fest to say the least but a great finish. The Chiefs went for their DG too early and left too much time on the clock.

    Those highlander jackets are... interesting.
