I hope your neighbours are good at reversing!

Yeh, if they don't have parking sensors I would fork out for them as a present.

Its a fully loaded RAM Laramie - nice truck with a HEMI. His parking space is 90 degrees to mine and he has a pillar that blocks his drivers door if he doesn't back in far enough. Whoever designed the spaces probably didn't own a car!

I honestly haven't seen one of those on the road in years. What ever happened them.

I sold that to Lithuanians who I think exported it. There are tonnes of them in Romania that came from here and the UK. a lot of them rusted to bits - and my silver one got stolen, got into a Garda chase and ended up stuck on the Luas Tallaght line.
Insurance was the biggest factor in their numbers dropping, they were always hard to insure.
    They are a cracking car.

    Here’s my silver one

Nope, it's the normal M4 rather than the competition.

Have you not cleaned those exhaust tips yet

Should be great, are you planning on OEM+ or have you some tweaks in mind?
Is Conzy taking the current wagon or has he moved on?

I haven't even bought it yet!

For now I'm leaving it OEM. We'll see what happens down the line but if I do make changes they'll be cosmetic, not mechanical.

Conzy bought GustavoFring's white 330d instead.

Bit pointless giving it a wash today. This thing is absolutely terrible in the snow. Relatively wide summer tyres and not much weight will do that I guess.

Old and the (relatively) new. 535d and 540i. Always liked the muscular design of the bonnet on the F10 and when the G30 first came out I thought it looked bland with the smoother bonnet. Like most new models though, once you get used to them you realise that they just look more modern and up to date.

I bought Michelin Cross Climates for my car just before Christmas and today was the first time trying them out on snow. I was really impressed with the grip and braking ability for 19" wheels and RWD. The warm weather performance is supposed to be comparable to good summer tyres. My wife wasn't able to get out of our street in her A4 on summers so had to borrow my car.

Tyres defo more important than drive train I think. Years ago I had winter tyres (prob overkill) on a 3 series during that big freeze, prob 2010. It was fine with everything. There was an awd x type in the house at the time which was terrible. False sense of security nearly in the Jag. I'd maybe consider an all season type next time.

Wailin, personally I much prefer the g30. I think it looks sleek and smooth with the shape and lines

Carbon bits are a must, lad

Carbon bits are very expensive and not worth it in my opinion, lad :pac:

There’s enough black on it with the paint and tint rather than adding more. I prefer contrast to the black-out look.
