    And we are back..

The first 2 quarter finals taking place today and we have a peach of a line up.

Match 1 consists of 2 scenes that had huge wins in the first round, this one is a really tough one

Those soldiers are incredible! The shading is very cool. Nice details!

Like those trees! Aww Look at ET's face, how cute is that?

    The standard really is brilliant

I voted for Saving Private Ryan, so much detail, and Home Alone, mostly for the iron imprint!

These are all great but I decided to be desisive this time and not vote for everyone (even though they deserver) Thelma & Louise got my vote because it's a key scene and I love the action of it and the backdrop - but SPR is just a fantastic painting worthy of framing - similarly to ET and Home Alone - they are both fab but I love the spider on Home Alone and it's a very characterful picture.

    SPR and Home Alone.

There's so much going on in that beach landing and it captures the violence of the scene perfectly.

Marv just looks terrified and it's like a rip from a comic version of the movie.

It's extremely tough, I feel bad choosing

    This is so difficult now.
I went with T&L because it just speaks to me ok! The colours the smoke... Oh I just love that one.

The next one was almost impossible. They're both so cool. I love the iron mark on the home alone one but there's something special about the E.T pic too. I almost wasn't going to vote but and I know this is dumb but... I have a sick stomach today and I can't face looking at the spider so I have to keep scrolling past it quickly but I've been lingering on the e.t pic and loving it so e.t gets my vote.

SPR starting to pull away now after it being neck and neck most of the day.

Home alone with a decent lead

After home alone missing out narrowly at christmas, its time to get it over the line here! :D

Thelma and Louise , one of my favorite films , and by god that's a cracker of a pic , fair play to whoever painted it !

    And E. T . is my second pick .

Both iconic scenes imo beautifully painted .

Looks like you will find out soon enough, it was one that i thought might go the distance, but its no shame to lose to that SPR picture

Right i'm gonna call this as a Win for Saving Private Ryan and Home alone who will advance to our first Semi Final on Wednesday.

Unlucky to our absolute fabulous painters Deja Boo with her iconic Thelma and Louise picture - unreal use of colours in that one. and to sKeith with the Cubic E.T. - the finger on E.T. is just inspiring. Bravo!

Dont forget to send me your pictures for the MsPaint Musical Artist/Band and talk some smack here:
