Jesus, what a horribly irritating song, apparently its had a revival in recent times? Glad I never heard it before nor ever want to hear it again!

    What song was it?

“It matters not what someone is born, but what they grow to be” - A. Dumbledore

“It is not blood that makes you Irish but a willingness to be part of the Irish nation” - Thomas Davis

BOC not getting the level of outrage he was probably hoping for from the panel so far...could be 'awkward'.

Very surprised with McConkey. If it was a bunch of kids having a house party I think his attitude would have been far more judgmental.

As I said on the other thread the main point here is what this tells us is that the people running the country, who are telling us every day about the "dangers of COVID" and locking down businesses and lives on this basis, do not actually believe that COVID presents any threat to life at all.

Professor McConkey really trying to stay on the fence!

The reaction from all the golf dinner attendants the reporter rang illustrates how cut off these entitled 'elite' were from the normal people of this country. They could not understand what all the fuss was about.

Can't take any more of this! Am heading over to Newstalk!!

This is not reflecting the anger out there

This is pretty shocking from Sam McConkey. Grow a pair of b*lls, Sam, ffs. He is losing credibility by the minute here.

Just heard back on the Mary Wilson show that there was also a weather warning that night, so only essential travel was allowed on that same night also. So they ignored those rules as well.

So we shut down the private sector completely then? Who does this man think pays his wages? Does he expect the State to continue borrowing to pay for him?

Remember the crowd from Oxford talking about having 1m doses ready by September. Always seemed a tad on the optimistic side, that one!

RTE out defending the need for Hogan because of Brexit. Rubbish.

I can't think of anything BOC would love more than intervewing Dermot Kennedy. This is what he lives for.

It was only a red warning in Cork, Galway was an orange one.

Person who was on with Mary Wilson said that it was "essential travel only". Maybe they have it wrong, I'll find the link.

I thought he couldnt get any happier talking to Kennedy but when Mescal was brought up he had an out of body experience.

Edit: just said he wants to be in their gang
