    There's a major and highly-moderated thread about that incident in Current Events, that's where it belongs.

    You don't just start talking like that about a completely different situation, that's what's "ridiculous" here.


    I see a mod has reviewed & left this open to run.

    This thread was originally started by me to seek advice with the aim of avoiding a family conflict, the events that happened in cork are a tragedy what ever the source of the initial conflict. We can all learn from family feuds where people fall out with each other but I really feel the events that took place in Cork are too serious and sensitive for us to be commenting on them when we are not directly involved.

    RIP to the three men involved and my deepest condolences to their wife and mother.

    I would appreciate if the admin closed this thread to avoid causing any unneeded offense or pain to family or friends of the deceased.
