Cant see link but this "armpit"talk is nonsense. It's his shoulder I assume you mean. Which means he's offside.

VAR will get a lot of things wrong but offside is offside just because it's extremely close doesn't make it's not offside.

My point is that the armpit is under the shoulder. It's physically impossible for it to be armpit and not shoulder. Armpit is a buzz word to say how close the decision is.

If his foot was offside by an inch, it's still offside. Just without VAR likely wouldn't have be caught due to being so close
