I think my high octane little sleep routine is catching up with me. Started coughing last night, now have a sore throat and a nasty headache. In bed, air-conditioning on full blast drinking a lemsip with a shot of whiskey hoping I am not headed down chest infection road.

Really want to be better so that I can enjoy the Ardal O'Hanlon gig tomorrow night.

Kill that aircon! They are BRUTAL for sore throats and headaches! (As someone who is a major sufferer of both).

I don't normally have an issue with them. I can't live without it here. It's 26 ° here at 11 pm.

Sitting on the couch watching festive bake off with the Derry Girls cast.

I’ve a fierce craving for some trifle now because of it.

Couchside after a productive day doing outdoor and house chores, lasagne about to be consumed for dinner then a relaxing night by the fire with a good book. Meeting up with a few mates for lunch and afternoon pints tomorrow so keeping on the straight and narrow tonight :D

Guy, pretty please ... can we have another ditty post lunch with the pretty lady? (nosey Bumbóg here)

Yea I'd love to know who the pretty lady is :)
Who am I to refuse the request of two pretty, nice and funny ladies such as yourselves?? :)

    Would like me to share
    Well it went very well
    I feel just swell
In fact, right now I feel like a trillionaire

In truth, I know I have talked about this about a thousand times already but she is a friend of my friend that commit suicide last month and we have gotten to know each other since then and bonded over our shared loss. Today was our first official datey thing and I couldn't be happier with how it went. If nothing more comes of it then so be it but I'd be ecstatic to be able to call her my girlfriend. FYI she is not a Boards member but she knows about my account and will more than likely read this post and all my other ones too. If that doesn't scare her off then I may just stand a chance. :D

Love is in the air! :D Arrange another datey thing quickly, Guy.

Would anyone like to cook me dinner? I'm too lazy, but I don't want to have a drink until I've eaten. Quite the dilemma.

I feel your pain Duvet, I thought I had actually achieved the impossible and emptied the laundry basket. Alas, there was a pair of knickers lurking in the bottom.

I can't explain how much this annoyed me!

It's when the knickers are not your own that you should get really angry.
