Took a sick day, feel kind of guilty cos I'm really not that sick!
But I am coughing & have a headache, I'm sure no-one in work would thank me for going in.......
Feels weird though, like I'm taking the piss

Meh 60hr weeks and having last min plans cancelled etc for work kind of justifies the odd not totally sick but sick enough day. Enjoy it!

Working from my favourite pub as it is close to the apartment I went to see. I think I have found my new home. Not sure how himself will feel about me moving out it I can't live in his place any longer or will go crazy.

In a bar with my Dad waiting for beer battered cod and well done chips. After yesterday's sh1t show, a well deserved treat.

@Grem- you're doing better than I am. Laundry and litter tray shovelling has been the extent of my labours today.

Homeside after feasting on brains..I meant sweet and spicy beetroot. Must make it myself and preserve it in jars this year...theres always someone with a glut of beetroot to offload in the summer.
Definitely have a bug, but I feel a bit high from a temperature. In great form! Washed down everything in the kitchen, repotted my houseplants and chatted on the phone, something I normally don't enjoy!. I want to eat all of the things.

I hope Kitty is feeling a bit better!

I love it when companies send out CYA Disclaimers, we just got, have you left the country in last 2 weeks, Were you close to someone coughing who left the country in last 2 weeks, were you close to someone who is under investigation for COVID19 in last 2 weeks.

If I answer YES YES YES, that’s me off work for the next two weeks, but it will be so nice to get home before I submit this disclaimer.

Just pepperoni goodfellas... it was the easy option!

Python, I’ve been telling myself to start learning that. It’d be a tremendous addition to the brain! :D

Evening wherers, hope you are all well.
Haven’t been posting for a while as been a tough few weeks. My lovely brother and his partner lost their baby at 29 weeks and my heart is broken for them.
But we had a lovely wee ceremony for her last week and I have to say the support they have received to help them through this has been second to none.
So I am sad, but comforted to see them pull stronger together and be open with their feelings instead of bottling them all up. Now we just need to mind them over the next few months.

So onwards and upwards, I am in the kitchen having just polished off a lovely chicken ramen dish, soul food! I’ve missed the shenanigans in here, so carry on!

    Bedside/youtubeside.

Was in town earlier, felt quiet and muted, everyone seemed to be scurrying around and focussing on getting on home. Weather's horrible too.
Sigh. I've decided to make tomorrow fun and fabulous. Ideas welcome :)
