That's it. Run along back to the thought bubble of your feminist sisters who'll never dare to actually apply critical thinking to your misandry.

Where has misandry been on show? You don't know what that word even means.

Jesus, this is a car crash of a thread!

Women do think about and want sex. Libido will vary widely during the menstrual cycle if hormonal contraception is not used, peaking during ovulation and before a period as mentioned before.

We are brought up differently though, as well as having different hormones. There's no way my parents would have entertained a new man at the front door every week. We probably are pickier too, I wouldn't go home with someone I just met, I would need to be comfortable around him before I'd have sex.

Question for men now, if you would like to have more regular sex with women, and for them to be less selecting, how would you feel if you met a woman, got on well and were hoping for a relationship etc., then a few weeks in discovered she'd had sex with a few of your friends, brothers, uncles and cousins on numerous one night stands? Would it change how you viewed her?

For the record, I don't hate or fear men, nor do I think they're unable to control themselves and walk around like rapists-in-waiting. These hysterical claims are best ignored.

    Kinda like the phillipines tbh.

For some reason men seem to think that talking about sex all the time is the 'right' thing to do.Especially among each other.

Women have other stuff to talk about.Biology is a fact of nature, let's all move on...

Maybe women are just as desperate, and just don't feel the need to talk about sex all the time.Or maybe men aren't actually desperate, but have to talk about sex constantly to seem more 'manly'(?) In front of other men.

    Who knows....

I talk about sex more with women than men funilly enough.

You obviously have NO idea what a feminist actually is, that men are feminists too, and that feminism is a good thing for society as a whole. I won't respond to you any longer as you are overly aggressive and derailing this thread. The topic was about women and men and how they feel about sex, of which the ideas I presented have a place in that. As I've said I also wondered about the contributions of both biology and culture/society. Men and women's views on sex most likely have to do with both. You've contributed nothing but aggressive, senseless attacks. Blocking you from here on out.

thats not the topic of the thread for starters. its simply asked the question of whether women are mad for sex as much as men. nothing about anything you said.
you dont want to engage because i've obviously made a point that struck a nerve with you.

Feminism is not good for anybody. it tarnishes women, whether it's said to them or not, with a name of being a bit mad, or worse depending on the level they go to with their so called "feminism"... it's literally killing young men that have become extremely warped from this very attitude.

the idea that feminists can create this mind-set in young people is extremely worrying. it's horrifying actually.

im glad to hear you wont be annoying me, oh sorry, engaging with me again, but lets face it, you're only ducking out because i made some valid points that you dont want repeated.

Wibbs, that is what is harmful, ridiculous stereotypes.

Men should be holding other men accountable. Similar to the fight against racism. It's not enough to just be "not racist," while allowing it to go on around you unchallenged. White people should hold other white people accountable and call it out wherever you see it. Same idea. There seems to be anti-Americanism going on here also, what is that about? Do you think that there are no Women's or feminist studies in Universities here in Ireland? Or all over the world? Hate to break it to ya...

Ah here, nobody is responsible for the behaviour of another.

I like this thread. It proves my regularly said point that whenever male sexuality is mentioned it's compared to animalistic behaviour like rape and abuse.

Ah here, nobody is responsible for the behaviour of another.

Omg, it's like beating your head against a brick wall.

I never said anyone is responsible for anyone else's behavior. I said hold accountable. Can you not understand the difference?

Do you honestly think saying that somebody is saying 'harmful steorytypes' will work around people who aren't trying to seem cultured and middle class? The best reaction is to laugh tbh.

    Lads seriously.

This is classic behaviour from the OP. He starts off quite frankly bizarre threads and then fecks off- has anyone else noticed he has not posted at all?

Where has misandry been on show? You don't know what that word even means.

in every single one of your posts!?
you hate men, just admit it.

the thing is though, what you want and crave to happen in the world will never happen.

feminists will simply never get what they want (ie: subservient men), because everybody who isnt a feminist (ie: most people) absolutely hates these ideas, and think that feminists are a total joke.

male feminists you mentioned - that's the most toxic you can get in terms of masculinity - why? because most likely they are claiming they are male feminists to get the attention from women and they are thinking with their d!cks.

i could sit here, like you, and spend all day whining about all the terrible things about women - but i wouldnt do that - because im a normal person with a way more balanced and nuanced approach to life than you seem to be, and i dont hate women, or men, or anyone really, apart from rabid man-hating feminists, i dont like them, but i also find them amusing - feminists are like the 2019/2020 version of the jesus guy with the megaphone nobody is listening to

Actually, wasn't it Sarah who said it wasn't a useful comparison, or something like that? There are so many deliberate misquotes here and that its impossible to keep straight. Which I'm sure is the point. Not sticking to what was ACTUALLY said, but instead making gross generalizations and stereotypes. That's lazier and easier to do.

OK yet then you come out with this:
Men should be holding other men accountable.

Genius. :D The lack of self awareness is staggering.
There seems to be anti-Americanism going on here also, what is that about?
Again you conflate critique of a couple of Americans with being anti Americans as an entire people and culture. Though yet again this is all too common in the zealous mind, as they're hyper sensitive to any perceived threat to their deeply held worldview and see it as an attack against the entirety of said worldview, so extrapolate that out to any critique of anything. Which is what you have just done.

OK let's break out the crayons... If I were to critique Donald Trump and his advisers, which I have done often - would this then mean I'm critiquing American and Americans in general? Or is it only when I critique your particular politic?
Do you think that there are no Women's or feminist studies in Universities here in Ireland? Or all over the world? Hate to break it to ya...
Oh there are. Mostly populated by the gullible, the vested interests who teach it and those who found themselves too educated for their brains and went the easy route of non science and general woo.

Rejoice in the awareness of feeling stupid, for that’s how you end up learning new things. If you’re not aware you’re stupid, you probably are.

So I should hold everyone I see behaving in a manner I deem unacceptable accountable?

You have a warped view of the world, not just men. I've better things to do with my time, the best any of us can do is call people we know out on shıtty behaviour. We can't all be Batman.

This. Oh my goodness many modern male fashions seem designed to hide all evidence of the presence of testosterone.

And I really can hardly believe there are still people who froth so freely about how the Church ruined every bit of libido in Ireland up until about 15 minutes ago. Weird. Truly weird.

Women are probably more cyclical in their sex drive than men, with the ovulation period naturally spiking desire, and then a crazy few days of extra horniness pre menstruation which does not really make sense at all...well, except as some kind of raw existential scream for life from the engorged womb before it relentlessly sheds.
Ahhh, glad to get that off my heaving bosom....

Out of curiosity, do you have any examples of good male fashion in movies? I feel like now they're all grunting pornstars and don't have the subtleness of Jack Nickolson, James Dean or even Pierce Brosnan.

Straight male, but fashion has always intersted me.

Woman's opinion here, but I'd say ignore fashion and go for a more classic look unless you're in the teen-mid 20s age bracket.

You didn't watch the video and it was immediately dismissed as "American crap."
It's obvious that it, and the accusations of American university studies, are to be automatically cast aside on that basis alone. Break out the crayons for yourself. You're a keyboard warrior, full of insults and not much more that makes any sense. You're way off topic now. Do get back to the main thread and stop attacking me. Actually, put away the crayons, I think you need a nap.

So it's either Batman status or nothing or all? It's not warped, it's called changing things for the better. If we all did our part, no one person would have to answer the bat call for an entire city, then maybe our children can live in a better world.

    more drivel.
utter nonsense that nobody cares about.

you are the one attacking. you are attacking men, you have a disgusting horrible attitude and you are unwilling to learn, or hear about anything unless it fits with your sick narrative of hating men and trying to guilt men into feeling bad about things that none of us have done.

if you want to hate men, then hate appropriate ones that have actually done harm and bad things. you cant hate all men just because they're men.

you have a lot to learn darling.

"if we all did our part" - but that's just it - you're sitting there instructing men to hold other men accountable and all this tripe, when what "part" are you playing other than the villian.
the part you are playing is that of the wannabe dictator.

no man or woman would be on board with a single thing you have said.
why not go out and hold women accountable for the horrible attitudes on display here?

for starters, you need to calm down, and step away from the computer for a while.

and wibbs is right to question the validity of an american sourced youtube clip - why? because it is widely known that america has a huge problem with fake news and different groups of extremist viewpoints which nobody in this country should take anything from.

american media is dangerous, and only a fool who can't think objectively for themselves would get washed up in that.

Shuhada, you're an agressive bully, someone who signed up a NEW account just to hide behind a screen name and insult and name call. You're the one who needs to get a life and calm down. It's just a thread on the internet about sex. I know there's a lot of uncomfortable ideas being thrown out there, but there's no need to go so OTT. You're not actually being threatened, buy you're behaving like your life depends on it, lol.

America doesn't have a problem with fake news, Donald Trump does. He throws that phrase around whenever he's confronted with facts and truth, and if you think Ireland is not affected by extremist views then you have no idea about the country you're living in (if you even are). Ireland is also divided on many topics. These men and that video have nothing to do with "fake news," the "american media," or "extremist views" in America. They're just a group of guys who get together to talk about things that affect them and their children. You would know that if you actually watched it. Your OTT comments only prove my point about anti-americanism.

I'm asking you now to leave me alone. You've crossed over into inappropriate personal attacks. You still haven't contributed one useful, on-topic comment in this thread. Get over yourself.

Gosh, Ive never been asked that before :) Cannot think of a movie star or movie per se. I like my husbands style, though it is variable. It us comfortable and individual, no tight clothes. Nice big woollen jumpers and cords in winter, thick lumberjack shirts for outdoor work, funky unusual shirts for summer, tee shirts are not great on an older guy, a few hand made pieces, like waistcoats, invest in durable classic pieces that last especially coats and shoes. Then he also has ethnic pieces like weird baggy trousers and flowing kurtas for when he is really lounging. I like clothing with a bit of a story on a man - a good friend sources unusual canvas tops online because they are so useful for his hobbies in terms of pockets and design.
Anyway I will stop there before I find out I missed my vocation as a fashion expert :D

Totally agree there out of control when they get there freedom!
Bit of training hey presto ur own porn star!

    sorry no, you are ridiculous.
you can't just claim all of the above. i dont need to calm down, as i have been calm the whole way through posting here.

why are you not addressing any of the valid points i made?

the reason you feel personally attacked is because you probably think that what i've said is personally insulting, but it's not the meaning, i am just telling you and the other readers of this thread what MY own opinion is on the matter, and then you come in the thread and say all this horrible stuff about men, try to derail to a thread about how men should treat women better - when the op is about sex. it's not about rape, or sexual harrassment, or anything to do with the points you made.

you derailed to this point, not me. i was annoyed by your posts, as many would be, and you deserve to be told the truth - that your opinion, from what i can gather from people i speak to in reality, not online, is that they wouldnt agree with any of it either.

i am not, nor have i personally attacked you, i was attacking your ideas and your posts.

look at what i quoted up there - that's the method you have been using all along - you make YOUR point, and then when your post is criticised in any way, you go straight for the "boo hoo i feel personally attacked".

i could also say that YOU created a new account to troll - you have very little post count and most of which are in this very thread.

just leave it there with me - i am in no mood to listen to a woman like you.

the only uncomfortable ideas thrown around here were your suggestions and trying to dictate to people about what they should and shouldnt do, or how to treat each other.
i decide how i treat people. if i want to treat someone with disdain i will do so, but usually i would only do that to somebody who deserves it.

i havent done that to you. i have been civil, and actually maybe you're so enraged by me telling you the truth of the world, that your opinion is in the minority and that other women do not agree with the things you say, then you try to say i'm a bully?
