Could you all please stop spamming the thread?

Says the man quoting 6 people...

Draw is a kinda fair result there tbh, good scrap in the end. Another young heavyweight that couldn't get past the big Russian.

    Povetkin is a class act.

Agreed, can't argue with the cards. I had it as maybe 1 point to Povetkin, but a draw is defo a fair result.

Once I seen that one of the judges was Russian I knew Povetkin was going to get a win from him.

A draw is fair. I don't see either as serious contenders.
Hunter should go back to Cruiser weight.

Ruiz is coming in light tonight, I thought they said that he was heavier than the last time. ;-)

They said he was a stone heavier yesterday, but now tonight they are saying he is coming in light, not sure what the story is!

Am I the only one shocked at Ruiz being 2/1 to win this? He was able to take AJ's power last time out, and anything he threw back hurt AJ bad. With AJ lighter, he certainly won't be hitting harder than before, so is surely vulnerable here.

If Joshua loses tonight there'll be no more beats or lynxs ads for him

Rule for future fights: A room full of bewildered arabs is no craic at all.

Josh looks in incredible shape. I think he's brave to take the rematch, I hope he is rewarded for his bravery. But God, he looked so fragile in the first fight didn't he, and Ruiz took his toughest punches without much problem.

I thought Adam Smith would be doing the commentary?

Sorry for being annoying but could someone pm me a link..id really like to see Ruiz prove first time round was not a fluke! Thanks

"Is this place lacking atmosphere, you've got to be joking", says he as I pick another pin up from the floor. You got to love the sales bit from Sky.

They keep saying there is a great atmosphere... But I'm not seeing it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 16,392 ✭✭✭✭Francie Barrett

Could they make the walkout any longer? :D

Personally I backed AJ but to be honest the is one throws out more questions than answers. It’ll be an interesting fight if nothing else.

Joshua nervous as ****. Eyes looking watery.

Jaysus thought Andy grew his hair out for a minute there

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,691 ✭✭✭squinn2912

Ruiz looks composed but this could all go out the window after ding dong

Very odd atmosphere. I was more nervous and excited about the fight during the week, but I can't get into it with the strangeness of it all. I half expect them to link arms in the middle of the ring, the lights to dim, and them both to start singing Pennies From Heaven together.

Let's hope there's more life in the boxing than there is in the crowd
