The transition from cold to warm as you walk into a cosy pub with a turf fire after getting thorougly soaked and chilled to the bone while slogging up and down a mountain on what turned out to be a miserable day

First time I got black out drunk as a kid. I just remember this feeling of warmth and euphoria. It never felt the same way again.

You never appreciate the absence of pain, until you do. That's the best feeling.

I think alcohol actually depletes some opioid receptors in your brain causing you to need more to feel the same effect over time, just like with any drug.

Did you get deja vu on ecstasy? It seemed to be a feature of my first ecstasy tablet.

Pure MDMA. I have never taken anything of the real class As that take over your life, but they would need to be special to top that.

The relief of finally having the time and privacy to go to the loo.

Intense pleasure seems so fleeting compared with pain which can endure frustratingly. There are obvious more intense ones like orgasm, then more muted pleasure feelings like the warm contentment of being with loved ones. In ordinary day life though intense pure fleeting moments of pleasure for me comes via nature - pristine dark sky with stars and moon, the expanse and freedom of it, a sudden warm breeze that lifts the hair, the green coloured light captured in an incoming wave, the intense red of autumnal leaves, silhouettes of trees against fog or mist, an unexpected blossom, natural stuff gives me a really high fleeting buzz most days, a strong moment of ecstatic peace that reverberates. Music also can give me that pleasure shiver.

Surely the relief you get after sitting for 4 hours on the bog would be the best?

Yesh, I did something sexually quite mild with a woman but it was intense that I decided to never really do it again. Maybe not with a partner as it was way too intimate/intense.

To sum up, it was the best/pleasure as it was so 'intense' it was almost painful. Imagine the feeling of seeing golden leaves falling on concrete, mixed with an orgasim, and all over your body.

It's a cliché but my son smiling at me for the first time.
In a "see, that definitely was a deliberate smile". The first time he giggled at me I almost lost it!

When someone is on the receiving end of karma.
I saw two guys enter a shop , first guy held the door but second guy didn't thank him. I'm only going by first gus reaction what happened. First guy timed his exit so he was in front again but let the door swing back and hit the second guy who assumed he would hold it again. The smile on the first guys face was wonderfull. I was prity happy too

Most people know that one of the symptoms of diabetes is the constant need to pee, and a wild thirst. Pre diagnosis, I sat an exam for promotion in Croke Park. Had drank about a litre of water before heading in.

An hour in to the exam (was actually 2 separate exams in one session), i needed to pee. Badly. The exam was 3 hrs in length. I thought i was going to pass out from the pain of holding. They wouldn't let anyone out to use the bathroom.

Finally, when we were released, I waddled my way to the jacks. I could actually feel my bladder swaying inside, like an overly full water baloon.

At first, the pain of release was intense, however, that was quickly replaced with an intense pleasure as I finally deflated.

Being really hungover and getting my hands on something sweet and liquid. Nearly cry from relief.

Tough course in the army, had been hard at it for 8 months, was down to the last week and got a bad injury on final exercise. The few hours in the ambulance was heaven. I'll never forget that sense of relief.

Ejaculating violently into the depths of a large-booty'd Brazilian lady's bowels. Or possibly putting on a pair of brand new socks. Or taking a massive prostate-tickling poo the morning after consuming ten pints and a large pizza.
