The fleet of trucks and other assorted mad looking vehicles that the ESB own. They all seem to be big bright bespoke half military monsters with cherry pickers, or generators or something on them.

Like if you asked a 10 year old to draw a cool truck and then you made it.

Tell me about your truck little Timmy.

Well its as big as a forty foot coz its nice to be up high, but not as long so we can park at grandads. And it should be a mercedes like mammys car, and its bright yellow so you can see it from space with flashing orange lights on the roof. And i want an electric ladder ln the back and a space with seats so all my friends can fit in. And a winch on the front in case i have to rescue batman.

Actually saw one of these earlier :)

Wanted to ring revenue I was told much quicker if you press the button for "as Gaeilge". Get through straight away problem sorted. Sticking to that in future I think.

I didn't burn my French toast (that's the level I'm at) even though I started watching extra time of a match on telly. It's a win-win.

doctor for my ECG / EKG …. Results described by the doctor as ‘perfect’… I nearly collapsed… 😳

Turned out not to be my regular GP but a practitioner who always appeared around the practice as let’s say, a bit ‘stern’…. But one to one for the first time she was really anything but… was in fact super sound, amusing and reassuring throughout….

Finding something that for once comes in handy, in that drawer you keep all those electrical cables and stuff "just in case".

After a smelly sh*teball of a day in work i went for a walk and met a fantastic border collie who only wanted to play.

He kept jumping up on my chest with his lead in his mouth to get me to play tug with him. All the office based bleurgh just evaporated.

Using a computer with a keyboard, mouse and monitor to do stuff, rather than going blind and crazy trying to do it on a mobile phone.

I was smack bang in the middle of TA land waiting 14 minutes on hold to speak to someone in a certain government department. But when they did answer, simply the most helpful, professional, & proactive individual who actually clearly gave a shît…. A txt confirmation for an appointment about 60 seconds after the call ended. I know it’s fashionable to knock the public services or parts of it but I’m impressed by that sort of work and efficiency.

Pamplet left in porch from an independent candidate, who wants to focus on "indigenous Irish people" and is worried about "shift in demographic in Ireland"

I started laughing when I looked at his surname, it is of Norman origin.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.
