I'll be doing Ashley Barnes to Lacazette for GW9

Arsenal have a great run and Laca is bound to be up there in double figures at the end of the season.

Whats people's opinion Matt Longstaff for Newcastle and Aaron Connolly for Brighton?? Both very cheap, look to be starting and had great games.

Hayden and Trossard take their places long term most likely

Pukki to Jimi is a straight swap for me and i'd like to do it but I also have KDB and Salah so I'll have to wait for news.

MATT Longstaff is covering Hayden's suspension. He'll be back.

Bruyne for Son but if any doubt both Kevin I will keep Son as they are home to Watford

2fts. Pukki to Wilson or Vardy will be one. Leaning towards Wilson as I prefer his next 3. Will probably captain him too if I bring him in. Son to Maddison might be the other ft.

Not sure what to do. Salah and Aguero are eating up most of my budget so I can't go Pukki to Wilson which is what I want to do.

Someone made the point that Pukki could be this season's Richarlison (or the season before that's Richarlison) - early goals that dried up.

Current front 3 is Aguero, Pukki, Wickham meaning I have to play Cantwell every week in a 3-5-2. I have exactly enough to turn the front 3 into Vardy, Wilson and Abraham for -4. Three players I want and am really considering it now. Aguero has Palace away then two "easy" home games but I don't even know if he'll start both of those. If I'm paying 12million, I want a certain starter. Food for thought over the break anyway.

I'd prefer the second trio. Have aguero Abraham haller myself

The only game Aguero didnt start he had a knock. Jesus will likely play the cups with Aguero in the league

I’m looking at my frontline now too and cantwell
Considering downgrading auba so that I can get both mount and Maddison in
Could also go Vardy and mount
    One less transfer that way
Have to look at it properly
Might keep cantwell as my fifth mid and sell Hayden

Looking at similar, but feeling like ending up with three Chelsea and/or three Leicester is overkill

Prob look at two from Soy/Peireira/Vardy/Maddison(though not convinced by him)

Have Tammy & Tomori so dont want to go Mount (though this is my stubborn streak)

Going to be a Friday before the gameweek transfer for me

Also have tomori and Tammy but I just think it’s sill not to have mount now
In fact if I get him I will most likely move Abraham on too soon enough
    Ideally for Jiminez

I too do not trust Madison
Often flatters to deceive in Ff terms

I know what you mean, it just irks me to pay so much more than others. if CHO keeps a starting point he might match him.

It is an easy move to make alright

    After hitting the WC.

    My main decision is

    Abu and Maddisson or
    Vardy and Mahrez?

    I have KDB and Aguero.

I'd go with him and Maddison if you already have 2 City attackers.

Some bad news for you but Abu Hamza is doing life in America, for terrorism, with no chance of parole.

You’d be better off looking elsewhere.

He’d be a bollocks for bursting the ball every now and then anyway.

You still can't rule out Pep playing him up front in a double gameweek

    2 FTs

    Probably
    Button to Gazzaniga
and carry 2 transfers for the following week

    Or Maybe - 4
    Button to Gazzaniga
    Pukki to Wilson
    Fredericks to Rico or Kelly

No - he has played no football over the last 6 months. He’s a sub

I can't bring myself to sell Son home to Watford. Pooch might be gone by then. Although I think it's more to do with a split with the players more than the manager from what I read

Don't have Son but I think Spurs should do well v Watford they are in a much worse state than Spurs even are.

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

I wouldn't be so sure about Watford, they are turning it around a bit, since QSF came back they've drawn with Arsenal and Sheff Utd, fair enough the city game was bad but city can do that. I wouldnt touch spurs, apart from Gazzinga obvs

Adama might be a good asset going forward at his price. 5m

Son played for Korea today so I’d be worried about his minutes on Saturday

Yeah he is a bit of a conundrum, could easily get 12 points but just as likely a sub appearance and a 1 pointer.

He is also my only cash cow in the team, so could fund a move from Son-Pukki to Wilson-Mount

Feels like decades since the last GW.

I think I may have actually forgotten I was playing FPL and have no idea what strategy I was angling towards.

I somehow have 2 FTs and no major fires to put out..might just do Diop to Rico to save a few shillings

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,706 ✭✭✭dr.kenneth noisewater

have 2FT so thinking James/Pukki to Mount/King. Still need to get rid of Greenwood and Cebellos though

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,589 ✭✭✭patmac

Anyone else fcuk up bringing Mahrez in for KDB .1 short to get him back in. Think I might do a -4 involving Cantwell. Tempted also to do Cilson in for Auba.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,033 ✭✭✭✭Fitz*

I was also one of those who made that bad transfer. But Mahrez did rise 0.2 while I had him, and also I support Liverpool so silver linings and all that! :)

Also debating a -4 to get him back in but still thinking about what to do with Son first.

Wouldn’t discount that transfer just yet. I’d like to see KDB back playing before I’d call it a poor move

2 FT's. Have the funds for Zinch/Barnes out for Lundy/Tammy. Barnes has got SFA since I got him.

He seems like a trap, not even definite to start

Salah to Sterling or Haller to Tammy?

Haller only 14 pts in the 4 games I've owned him vs 26 for Tammy. Got that one all wrong but not sure how is the right time with Hallers next 4 fixtures.

Not sure I want Salah now and can do Son to Mane in a few weeks.

Currently have Aguero and Ota as city cover.

So I’ll prob just use one of my FT

I am going to be stubborn and get CHO instead of Mount - feel the one million extra can make a big difference to my team

Wait hold on.... that is only 12 points in the difference. It is not astronomical and could easily swing in 1 single GW.

I’ve Haller and I’m holding as I can see him picking up for points & goals.

Salah is a tricky one. I think we’ve yet to see the best of him

The 1 mil difference here will be a bigger difference. Mount is operating a higher level to CHO. Mount is pretty much nailed on and is clearly a Lampard favourite. CHO will be rotated.

Go with Mount and stop messing around ;)

    Adrian out Henderson In

I do get you but...It means Hayden goes to a Martial or Maddison over a McGinn next gameweek.

In truth I have two transfers and no idea how to use them, Son out seems both logical and illogic at the same time ....

I wouldn’t transfer Henderson in. Likely he will he rotated with Milner and I’m not sure he’s much of a keeper either.

    Henderson, the SHU keeper.

No it doesn’t, the Hayden - Martial is 3mil in difference & the McGinn - Maddison is 1.5mil. But at that , for talk sake

McGinn & Mount outscore Maddison & CHO 9 times out of 10.

I get your reasoning, I do, but I think Mount is worth more than 1mil than CHO which will be reflected price wise
