Yeah.

My thoughts would be if there's 4 times more villagers than wolves, even if you give the wolves the answer (presuming that one doesn't figure it out and hand it over to the others anyway), it's still more beneficial to try and get prizes into the hands of the many. If the village can enter as a large block, it provides a stronger chance of just drowning out the wolves. Its a numbers game.
