Very true Emmet. Their biscuits are at least a little better than their crisps though.

Jaffa Cakes. Never even had the other things.

Polo, because it's actually a biscuit and none of that "full moon, half moon" nonsense in ads.

Calling a pre finish Stewart's Inquiry.

    Jaffas should be pulled up.

    Polos

Close one here.. like choosing vag or bj.. both good for different times..

I'll go with Jaffa's.. As that short bread base means you can cram three into your mouth for maximum taste.

  • Registered Users Posts: 19,017 ✭✭✭✭adox

Jaffa cakes all the way. Lidl Jaffa’s are even better. Lovely tiny baby size Jaffa’s.

    Polos are so 1970s.

    “Jaffa’s aren’t a biscuit....wah wah.....”

They are in this thread and they are in my mouth.

Has to be the jaffa cake, biscuit cakey goodness all rolled in to one

Jaffa cake! I prefer a cake to a biscuit so I love to see this little bad boy sneaking his way onto a plate of biscuits, masquerading as one of them!

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,532 ✭✭✭✭EmmetSpiceland

Polo as “Jafa Cakes” are legally, for tax purposes, a cake.

The distinction came about when the brits put a tax on chocolate “biscuits”. Jafa Cakes avoided this tax by proving they are, indeed, a cake.

    The tide is turning…

Jaffa cake definitely. The only negative to a Jaffa is that you really need to eat five boxes to get a hit. I'm ok with that. I love the soft orange and dark chocolate combination.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Polo because they were a childhood “treat”

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 7,154 Mod ✭✭✭✭cdeb

We had corn snacks in crisps, so we can have Jaffa Cakes here.

Chocolate Polos are a very bland chocolatey biscuit. Jaffa Cakes aren't what htey used to be - far less orange now - but they still win out here. Won't do so well against tougher competition.

    Jaffa Cakes.

    Polos are mank.

  • Registered Users Posts: 32,956 ✭✭✭✭Omackeral

It's 7-7 to Jaffa in this titantic tussle. Best match yet.

There's no shortage of inbred, tasteless degenerates here tonight anyway.

On top of that, some fatty in weight watchers put a story out that Jaffa's aren't as fattening as other biscuits.. so they all waddle into the shops and buy them by the trolley load.
