Work done and thinking of dinner. The monotony of the last three days is taking its toll. While I know I have it easier than others, the work, cooking, work, bed routine without being outdoors for any real length of time gets boring. That's what I get for slacking last week in the fine weather. I'm missing Wednesday night pints too because nobody is interested in going out, but I suspect they aren't being let.:eek:

Back out on the road next weekend, so looking forward to this weekend and hopefully out for a jar with Mrs G. and a feed on the way home.:pac:

Couchside wrapped up in a fleece throw, I'm feeling even colder today than yesterday I think I'm coming down with a cold

Ah what's wrong with ye lol..just home from a match,lovely soft evening out there,I'm honestly the coldest person in Ireland and I wasn't even cold (hormones maybe 😥)...heating on,pizza ordered ,no one going out here tonight after all so we're treating ourselves.

Couchside again. Glad I made the effort to get out of the place for an hour to my group. Left the meeting feeling a lot better.

TV on in the background, plan to have some supper, check on the OH in a few mins (poor thing has bad colitis flaring up and is in a good bit of pain ) get him a cuppa and do a bit of work on my paper in my home office.

Bed by 1am at the latest.

After 10 weeks my builder in Dublin who is supposed to hand over a renovated house on Monday is now talking about the type of roof covering for the extension, the list of not-done items seems to exceed the number of done items.

My vacation starts on Monday and I don't have anywhere to go.

Not amused.

That’s appalling. I think tradesmen are starting to take the piss again.
We called out a plumber to service the gas boiler. Discovered next door had burst our gas pipe during renovations. In the middle of this job (service) he left saying he had an emergency but would be back. When he got back, he said he’d have to come back another day as he needed to finish up for the day. Then he had to come back to fix the pipe. While I was there I said the water was bubbling in bath when I ran the shower. He checked it, said there was no problem. I asked him to check the mixer thing on the shower in the en suite he didn’t bother his hoop, now when you let water out of bath it bubbles up into the shower so he’s called back again, he’s supposed to be here today but **** knows if/when he’ll bother his hole coming.
