    you dont have the card details in the app until you receive the physical card and activate it, do i have that right?

    I'm in the same boat as you, went for the offer, it's free and no harm to try it out. Not had a chance to read it all yet, but I think you're right.

    I didn't either. Just downloaded the app and went through the registration that way.

    Me too, I’ll give this to my daughter to use until Revolut kids start easy to give pocket money too

    It's not. You can sign up via by installing the app and enter the code on registration.

    Pretty sure it's not, but you can look the app up on your own store to double check. I would guess the "ID" is to identify the app in the store.
    Search Monese in your chosen store to ensure no dastardly deed is being done.:rolleyes:

    Shouldn't as it's a debit card not a credit card. However, I imagine you world be liable for stamp duty for ATM withdrawals ( €0.12 per withdrawal capped at a €5).

    If you are with Virgin Media Mobile there is a well known issue with their network where people have problems receiving verification texts, see https://www.boards.ie/ttfthread/2057519923

    I got to the mobile verification text stage but never got a text. I tried a number of times. I'm on Tesco mobile.
