Tinkering but not sure if I'll do it...

    Henderson McCarthy
    TAA Stevens Egan Lascelles Stephens
    Salah KDB Grealish Traore Hayden
    Aguero Auba Ings

3 fts to get 11 out for GW28...

It's tempting. Not sure if I have the balls for triple Sheffield United defence though.

    Finally whipped out the WC.

    Any thoughts on this wildcard?

    Ryan - Button
    VVD - TAA - O'Connell - Rico - Lundstram
    Salah - Grealish - Traore - Perez - Hayden
    Aguero - Ings - Jiminez

3.1 in the bank with 10 players available for Gw 28 I think.

    Needs more KdB

    Needs more KdB

Funds won't allow it without downgrading of Salah, Aguero or one of double Pool defence

Triple is overkill. I like the Enda Stevens pick though :D Take out Egan and put in Boly. I really like the attack.

Pulled the trigger yesterday and settled on this.

    Henderson, Pope
    TAA, Gomez, Egan, Stephens, Lascelles
    Salah, KDB, Grealish, Traoré, JWP
    Auba, Jimenéz, Ings

0.2 in the bank. Could also go for Aguero/Hayden instead of Auba/JWP but I want to BB in GW27 when JWP is home to Villa, so not sure.

EDIT: Went with Aguero/Hayden in the end.

Good shout on Boly, definitely one I want. Didn't pull the trigger in the end. Wanted to see how Leicester get on today and if the Lord has lost his place.

Just rage activated. Not taking any price drops on these wasters tonight.

threw together a team in 30 seconds
with so many cheapish defensive, mid and ings I am struggling to spend the money :D

See Ings is 90% towards a drop? I've taken him out for now

Eyeing up a GW27 or 29 bb now. Don't think the dgwk fixtures for smaller teams will be good enough so I'd rather take my chances with one good fixture. 27 looks good but a bit wary about Jimi and Traore with their fixture sandwiched in between their EL tie.

    29 though...

    Sheffield United home to Norwich
    Southampton home to Newcastle
    Wolves home to Brighton

For those who haven’t played their second WC yet is there an obvious double gameweek or bunch of games coming up where it would make sense to use it?

  • Registered Users Posts: 48,132 ✭✭✭✭km79

After much procrastinating and injuries to Son and someone else I can't even remember now :D
I went in just there and came pt with this for exact money
Don't think I will veer too much from it
The 3rd striker slot (Jiminez and Ings are certainties) was giving me serious headaches. Vardy was the one I was looking at despite his form but he made midfield much worse so I seem set to stick with DCL.
Himself and Grealish were tricky ones. Especially with Grealish blanking. But of course blanking means a DGW again.........I will have no bench GW28 so he may yet have to make way. Was all set to go without KDB and go with mahrez but now I dont need the money and again it may be for the best.
Midfield options in the mid price range are thin on the grounD. spurs new boy may be the one worth a punt.........
    so
    Pope Henderson
    TAA Boly Fernandez Egan Taylor
    Mane Salah KDB Grealish Barnes
    Jiminez DCL Ings

Full squad of starters will present headaches at times as will inevitably benching a double Burnely clean sheet but it will also help me navigates the skinny weeks hopefully

It may change depending on injuries but not much hopefully
Hopefully Kun gives me a good bye Hat Trick

I mistakenly thought united had a blank in 28 (and I was happy thinking that )
    But they don’t
    So
    Grealish and Barnes
    Or
    Fernandes and 4.5

    Must
    Resist

I was looking at a potential wild card earlier as my team is in a bad state and I had Grealish and Barnes in it. I like Fernandes but the fixtures for Grealish and Barnes are better and Grealish has a 50 50 chance of having a game in gw31.

Have a huge selection this week now !
I may be benching double Burnely clean sheet in my very first week

    Current team is:
    Henderson Stek
    Robertson Soy Lund Rico Kelly
    Salah Traore KdB Redmond Douglas.L
    Vardy Ings Aguero

Bit of a mess. Especially in defence. 5 blanking next week and with Kelly/Redmond injured. Don't want Rico, Lund should probably go too.

Thinking about pulling the trigger on the following:
    McCarthy Stek
    Robertson Saiss Lascelles Taylor Williams
    Salah KdB Mane Traore Hayden
    Vardy Jiminez Ings

I know, defence is still very cheap, but I only need to play Robertson+2 others every week. Those 4 cheapies have pretty decent fixtures. Play 3-4-3.

If Vardy doesn't find form he's an easy downgrade to DCL/Wood and upgrade the defence.
    Thoughts?
Or should I just make 2 changes and roll the WC?

    Redmond not injured?

    Edit: ignore read it wrong.

Hayden has only been used as a sub since Bentaleb was signed in the winter transfer window and Shelvey has also to come back from injury so it might be better to get someone getting more game time if you can stretch the budget.

I'm squeezing every penny as it is.
Could put in McCarthy for Palace. Seems a regular starter

Get Button instead of Skelenberg as second keeper, .1 cheaper.

Good spot. Didn't see that one.
Not much better value at 4.4m in midfield though.

Maybe keep Douglas Luiz or get Dendocker

Ok so at the moment I have:
    McCarthy Button
    Robertson Saiss Lascelles Taylor Williams
Salah KdB Mane Traore Douglas L.
    Vardy Jiminez Ings

Could play Robertson/Lascelles most weeks with those fixtures. Wolves have a nice run too. Tripled up on them.

Holding Vardy for his nice run after City.

I think Doherty is a good shout for Wolves coverage in defence

Would need to downgrade 1.7m elsewhere to fund him

    Ok Team A)

    McCarthy Button
    Robertson Saiss Lascelles Taylor Williams
Salah KdB Mane Traore Douglas L.
    Vardy Jiminez Ings

    Team B)

    McCarthy Button
    Robertson TAA Soy Taylor Boly
    Salah KdB Bergwijn Traore Saka
    Vardy Jiminez Ings

Basically it's Mane Douglas.L Saiss Lascelles Williams
    Vs
    Bergwijn Saka TAA Soy Boly?
