How do you think your Monday will pan out?

Grand, except I'll freeze my arse off.

Were you ever called for jury duty?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,082 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

No. But I would like to be. I think I would find it very interesting and would be an attentive and well balanced Juror who would listen with impartiality to all the arguments made. And then definitely declare the rogue guilty of all charges.

Would a trip to Disney land be something you would like or hate?

I was there 10 years ago and loved it

Would you go on a roller-coaster?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

The ride wouldn't bother me but someone who came from a fairground family said the maintenance can be hit and miss. Although I never hear of rollercoaster accidents. I'm not that interested so no.

What kind of risk taker are you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

I’m a calculated risk taker ... I like a game of poker, the odd bet etc. but I’d weigh up the different options before making my decision

Last time (if ever) you were in a casino?

Only once back in the early 00s in the bright light city of Galway :)

Have you ever been in a helicopter?

To thine own self be true

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,082 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Yes, twice. The second time I was drunk and reckon the pilot was too. Never again!

Would you ever do something mad like skydiving?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I don't fancy it. I do like a thrill but just not that or so.e of the other obvious thrills.

I've never been in a casino but I have been a helicopter passenger. Friend of a friend's heli.

Do you feel sympathy for world class beauties who are losing their looks?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

A lot of the world class beauties I’ve seen (online) still look fab. As I age myself, I’m noticing people who are aging well. Any people I’ve seen with “work done” don’t look great imo. There are tell tale signs, e.g their neck which shows their real age

Have you good bone structure (face)?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,209 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

I've been told I've very defined cheek bone and jaw (if that's what you mean)

Do you think Lisa Smith should loose her Irish citizenship?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I'm high cheekboned with a heart shaped face but it's a curse if you lose weight.

I don't know who Lisa Smith is, guessing a jihadi, so yes unless very strong mitigating factors.

Would you enjoy a jet set celebrity lifestyle?

I'd hate it ,love my own couch and bed.

Do you personally know any so called celebrity?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,209 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

    Nope

    Do you?

    Nope.

What's the most money you spent on an item of clothing?

  • Registered Users Posts: 1,328 ✭✭✭Upforthematch

300-400 on a suit once upon a time...

What does it take to be an everyday hero?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Not the new breed of slebs. A few older ones like an Emmerdale actor and a few writers, but they are more like friends of friends. I know a writer called Nick Harkaway pretty well. His dad's fame tends to distract people from his own super talent...John le carre!

If you write/were to write a blog what topic would you write about?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,209 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

The double standards of many in society today

    Do you smoke?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

    Interesting subject.

    I'm an ex smoker.

    Have you ever kick boxed?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,209 ✭✭✭✭RMAOK

No - I'd be miles too fat for something like that

Do you put much value in other people's opinion of you?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Definitely yes for people I care about. Also, yes for work related.

If you’ve seen The Chase, which Chaser would you fear the most?

I used to until I heard the sage advice 'What other people think of me is none of my business.' Now, I don't give a fiddlers.

    Have you any heirlooms?

To thine own self be true

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

I do value the opinions of people I respect and like or look up to. That they want the best for me is partly why they hold an opinion of me and aspects of my life. No interest in the opinions of negatively judgey people.

    Haven't seen the chasers.

I've an heirloom child's victorian metamorphic high chair. It converts to a mini seat and table.nothing very valuable.

Do you like horror films? If so, why? Adrenaline rush?

How often have you sought the opinion of a close friend, on your personal life? Do you have a confidante?

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,648 ✭✭✭honeybear

Hate horror films. Have lovely confidantes ... don’t bother them much, thankfully

Do you read any problem page letters?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,082 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

No, I have enough to be dealing with without reading other people’s problems!

Are you comfortable that your use of the much abused apostrophe is always correct?

  • Registered Users Posts: 7,073 ✭✭✭Rubberlegs

Yes, apostrophes I'm OK with, some spellings I wouldn't be comfortable with though.

What do you struggle with grammar wise?

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,082 ✭✭✭Trigger Happy

Been and Being are the two words I struggle with most.
But my spelling is atrocious due to mild dyslexia. On the plus side my mathematical brain and pattern spotting is super enhanced.

What is your brain’s biggest weakness?

  • Registered Users Posts: 10,633 ✭✭✭✭Widdershins

Maths, but patterns spotting is strong.
I don't read the Agony Aunts columns or magazines at all unless I'm in a waiting room without my phone.
I'm happy enough with punctuation although I see no harm in getting the grammar Gestapo going with some creative punctuation.

    Are you observant?

Not really. I'm not too worried about other peoples business.
Whens the last time you darted in public, and was it embarrassing or did you act blaisé

I only played darts once and I was so bad it was embarrassing. Assuming you meant farted?. I'm a lady, so I don't ;)

Have you ever blamed a fart on someone else?

Observing isn't nosiness, just being tuned in
I don't really fart, if I or someone else did I'd ignore it as it's natural and harmless. "Its a sad arse that can't rejoice"!

Ever do any kitchen chemistry experiments for yourself or your children?
