    I'm delighted. I'd hate Ireland to be ranked number one going into the world cup (although am conscious it can be reclaimed.)

    Its somewhat arbitrary but brings serious pressure going in as the best team in the world (statistically).

    Australia are absolutely smashing NZ here. Red card clearly was the death knell but Australia have looked great.

    This has to be one of the worst rugby championships for the ABs in quite a while. Ran close by Argentina, drew with South Africa and finished with a drubbing from Australia.

    They're averaging 18 points in 2019 compared to 37 in 2018 so it certainly would be against the form guide.

    Australia's backs are a joy to watch when they get going. If their pack matches teams they have a good chance if they avoid injuries. Genia a great plus coming off the bench too.

    JOC is a great addition.

    Mounga was poor enough at 10.

    Aussie can go far in RWC. They probably wouldn't want England in a quarter final, but France or Argentina they'd be licking their lips.

    So....can Wales beat England and keep their No 1 ranking...or will it the shortest reign in rankins history?

    Today, I sort of feel like an Irish fan watching Wales vs Ireland 6N 2019...
