Watching this on rte. The commentators said that Gatland said his proudest achievement with wales , and there are lots. Resilience he said was his proudest achievement, and like you say , look at our absolute chokers !!! Absolute bottlers ! We won’t go anywhere at the top level until why we chronically choke is identified and dealt with!!!

This is the problem, it shouldn't have been such a ****ty grind. Woeful viewing.

Tom Curry, Farrell, FdK and PStD the most impressive 80 min men in this RWC

Any of them would be deserving world player of the year

South Africa should have kicked the easy penalty points at the end. I'm sure there's some people out there that lost bets as a result. Likewise, there may be some that won as a result.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,332 ✭✭✭✭dastardly00

What made that even worse for me was having to listen to Hugh Cahill & Donal Lenihan

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,630 ✭✭✭✭thebaz

well done South Africa - the triumph of **** rugby - sums up a dreadful world cup - unless the Union make serious changes to the game , the game will struggle to get viewers and sponsorship - sadly awful stuff.

  • Registered Users Posts: 14,150 ✭✭✭✭LuckyGent88

That should be that. Think the right team won. I do believe South Africa can play better but they are just doing what they have to in knock out rugby.

Hopefully Kolbe is back too. At least South Africa will have have the pack to match England anyway.

Feel for a lot of the welsh players. They are absolute warriors but I just don’t think they are that good.

Pollard was unbelievable off the tee.

Wales weren’t great and SA played down to the competition once again with a woeful gameplan.

  • Hosted Moderators Posts: 8,027 ✭✭✭fitz

Surprised, to be saying this, but 'hon England!!
Really don't want SA to win playing this kind of muck.

  • Registered Users Posts: 431 ✭✭Vital Transformation

It worked out for SA, but their strategy was horrid to watch.
