Reading what has others here feeling old, leaves me feeling ancient. Luckily, I don't think about it too often.

WW2 was still going strong when I was born.
Technically speaking here the Emergency went on until 1 September 1976 ;)

A friend posted today that Come On Eileen was released closer to the end of the second world war than to today

Automatically ****ting on the remakes of childhood classics, cause loyalty. I don't care that Will Smith is The Genie in this new Aladdin, he's no Robin Williams. End of story.

Honourable mentions to other films I maybe forgetting, losing my marbles already at 25 :pac:

Well considering you came up where every move made wasn't recorded/posted to Facebook, I envy you really Ted....

Can't even duck out for pints with friends, without every Tom, dick, Harry & Nora knowing where we are.

Why didn’t they use their Garda age card like I had to use in the 90s?

Once you buy your first plant, or learn your first plant name even, you are ****ed.

By ****ed, of course, I mean content in yourself and learning to live life as it is meant to be lived.

shouting out catchphrases from old TV shows....

e.g. "i ain't gettin on no plane!" and your younger co-workers look at you funny

Young fellas driving cars that make funny, loud noises. Also driving the way they drive with the seat (seemingly) as far back, and as low as it goes...and usually with a baseball cap on with a huge hood pulled up over it.

It was his sons 21st birthday at the weekend. That is Jaden from the Karate Kid reboot.
It's not even his oldest kid.
