I suspect he had 2 browser windows open on the transfer page, with 2 Liverpool players in both.

On window 1, transfer in a 3rd Liverpool player. Save team
Window 2 doesn't know about the 3rd player, so on window 2, without reloading, transfer in a 4th Livrepool player.

Palace clean sheets seem to have dried up. And Lundy doubtful.

Well Lundy is away at Liverpool so regardless of injury I think it’s three from the other four

Seeing as we've a quiet period figured I'd throw this up

I've had an FPL account since 07/08 season and up until 16/17 never took it seriously always forgot stopped after 3 GWs extra.

Since 2016/2017 I've played reasonable serious most years and remember to always do team etc

Started 2006, same as yourself always forgot after a few weeks, various finished between 300k-1.5m

Been playing the game for a very long time, with mixed results. Generally always within the top 500k.
Consistently average :P

This year has been an anomaly so far. Drowning in the 2m range at the moment. Found the forum around the 14/15 season and had pretty good results, due to some fantastic posters.

Love this forum and always appreciate the opinions. Great little community.

16/17 a massive highlight obviously, blew the top 100 finish looking to finish first in Ireland. Risked not having Kane as captain for two weeks. I’d have finished maybe 50th if I had.
3 top 10k finishes and 5 top 100k isn’t too bad

2014 was my year, was in top 500 at some point I think, not easy to stay around there...

eh i dunno

4 top 25k finishes in the last 8 seasons but struggling big time this season. Bad start had me at at 4.9m after gw7. Up to 1.4m now but top 25k looks impossible. Very tough this season

First 4 years were good, FPL-wise the next 6 weren't (marriage and kids), last 3 years, slowly getting back into it again.

Personally, unless you get to watch the matches live, you have to at least watch MOTD. Some can base their decisions off stats etc but I have to see the players in action. During the marriage and kids era, I saw nothing - even now if I get to see MOTD by midweek, I am lucky.
This place is great, thanks to everyone, and I also like the BBC updates.

A little inconsistent but still some decent finishes in there, 1 top 1K, 3 top 10K. Was on for top 1K last year but big red in GW38 where I went TC Salah instead of Mane!!

One thing to note is the huge increase in the number of players in the last couple of years, with over 7M players now a top 100K now is almost as good as a top 10K finish 4 or 5 years ago.

The first 2 seasons were pure casual, and I think if I were honest I've lost the buzz I used to get in the last 2/3 years.

After "compromising" my tendencies to go for risk and reward punts on an extreme level I had my best season in 16/17 but it dulled my judgment and possibly my enjoyment.

But looking at the numbers here I've actually had a better FPL career than I'd have thought - even the calamity of forgoing Yaya and Ramsey in 13/14 doesn't look that bad now :pac:

Got married just after the 13/14 season so that was write off!

It's interesting comparing points to rank 9/10 was my highest scoring season by 60 points.

Has anyone got any really tight point groupings? I've had 4 finishes in the 2215-2227 range and 3 finishes in the 2260-2268 point range.

All the extra information can be a bit of a hindrance at times, lots of people here including myself would have made decisions that would have been costly based off of rumours etc that turned out to be a load of ****, we probably overthink strategies as well, especially for DGW, I've ruined my last two seasons building teams around DGWs that ended up being a disaster :pac:

What's the general consensus on points hits? I've been trying to avoid them this season as always felt I was too fast to jump at them in the past. Top of my main ML at the moment and so far I've taken one -8 early in the season and nothing at all since.

Looking at this 3 for a -12 right now as I've only .1 to play with and it looks like a lot of the players involved could easily shift and price me out.

Kane - Connolly
Aurier - TAA
Traore - Salah

Think I might be focusing on the points hit part too much as it seems obvious moves, ideally would have held Traore for his next 2 games but needs must I suppose
