    It definitely seems unplanned. He didn’t mean to talk about it but for some reason he wants to, seems comfortable with tubs. It is like a counselling session and I hope it’s helping him getting it all out.

    As much as it pains me to say it, its probably good seeing someone like this on the show who admittedly 'lived the dream' by playing for their country and hearing about the turmoil he's been through that so much of us also can empathise with.
    Those superstars we love are human.

    No fan of Tubs but what can you do like. Someone having a meltdown in front of ya - not mocking him - on live tv. It’s easy criticise but wouldn’t fancy it either.

    RTE are doing this kind of thing all the time now, getting people at their most private lowest point, normally to be shared with a wise listener; now it’s for broadcasting in public.

    I agree. It feels wrong that this is viewed as entertainment. Raising awareness of issues is one thing. But taking advantage of soneone who is grieving is quite another
