    Club scene podcast back

    Many thanks for this.

Just gave it a listen there. Terenure strongly tipped to lay down a marker this year?

Naas tipped to go down after a stellar year last season? No mention of Belvo in the lads top 4 after their big injection of money and new pool of players?

    What are people's thoughts?

    Great Podcast.

You'd Have to listen to the Leinster Clubs and say that Nure look strong. Lansdowne would be my tip for the top though. Both have Strength in depth.

Naas have gone through some turmoil but Ballynahinch look weak enough and might have to rely on loan Ulster players which is never a good thing.

I think Hinch and UCC in trouble in 1A, UCD will be able to survive. The magic number of 35 points always the target.

Con, Tarf and LFC are going to be there or thereabouts, but as they said, Con might be in a state of flux losing a number of players - but they should be fine down there.

In regards to 1a I would have said the same top four be lfc con and tarf as usual then ur 4th team I feel is gonna be a toss up between garryowen or nure. Bottom two I feel be UCD and UCC

Hopefully Hinch will stay up but agree they'll be in fight at bottom.

Anyone going to a game this weekend?

    League starts next weekend
would be great to see some large crowds at games. Shame in a sense irish game is thursday and not saturday.
Like with Ireland Samoa hopefully lot of clubs do deals so people can watch the game in the club house as it kicks off 11.45am and then stay for lunch in club and watch AIL game then.

Will try post some updates per division as week goes on including coaching changes summed up per division in one post as well as transfers.

Tarf lose Michael Courtney for 3 months with a broken finger-had surgery at the weekend

Would love to make it to the Wegians game but I'm abroad. Keep an eye on Sibande on the right wing thought he looked really good in the Senior League game against Buccs.

Big wins for UCC, Tarf and Nure away in 1A today. UCD wont be the only team to get beat in LFC but big scoreline.

A dreadful day weather wise, here's for a few drier ones this season!

Is the fly half playing for Ballynahinch, the former Connacht underage player Sean O'Hagan?

  • Registered Users Posts: 304 ✭✭luke9311

Great Friday night lights game in Galway, brilliant win for Corinthians in the local derby. Tight enough at half time, but a great second half saw them pull away. Wish we had more of them.

Only when you win like that do you want more. Seemed to be great crowd at game from pics I've seen. What numbers were there do you think robbie?

Would not be the greatest at forecasting numbers, close to a 1,000 maybe. The clubhouse side was packed, concrete steps were full of standing people. Local derby, Connacht playing away in Wales. Just a great night. Brilliant advert for AIL and local rugby. Just a great buzz, what I love to see.

LFC always find it hard in Limerick! Big wins for UCC, Con and UCD, and just incredible from Garryowen. Also, a special mention for Highfield, does anyone think they can make it to 1A? Would be a real shock.
