The pictures are hilarious...because its not my local Tesco. Hey at least the world knows they are a whole separate ethnicity from us now.

Caught a few minutes of some show about nightmare tenants the other day where a group of travellers had taken over an empty site, about an acre or so, all fenced in. They obviously started up some kind of refuse collection service because the site was literally full of all kinds of rubbish by the time they left. Not before they threatened a solicitor dealing with the matter with some good old fashioned violence of course.

Tesco staff should prepare for a call over the tannoy "clean up on aisle.....actually clean up in entire car park".

It's ridiculous how easy it is for them to just turn up and plonk themselves where ever they want. This happened in the UK and there's feck all Tesco can do about it. Trespassing should be a criminal, not civil matter. It takes too long in the court system to get them evicted and by the time they leave, like you pointed out, they leave huge piles of rubbish after them. Just a few months ago they turned up at a brewery in the UK and demanded money to leave. Owner wouldn't give it to them and they ended up trashing the place, sh!tting in the brew pots and caused £300,000 worth of damage. The police did absolutely nothing :rolleyes:

They got jailed in the end, but it took a while.

Why are halting site even still allowed. There is not a single one which isn't riddled with crime. Same here in the UK.

They should all be shutdown and every traveler needs to pay for a commercial campsite if they want to live that way. Otherwise they are rehoused in individual council accommodation away from other travelers.

Halting sites are government created getos. They are always dead end communities where regular people don't go.

They have had 150 years since they went on the roads to make better choices and they have consistently and often deliberately made choices with bad results for themselves. Now if it was only harming themselves you would say that is free will. But those choices also harm their children and society in general. At some point choice has to be removed as an option from them to protect everyone. The legal system is based on the removal of the option to make bad choices and it is time that system was fully applied to the travelling community just as it is applied to the rest of us.
