Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

God they will be insufferable to listen to after this and last week.

Big time. France have given up. Even the Italians would offer more resistance

    Huget should be taken off.

    Just so terrible.

This is like watching one of them tier 1 v tier 2 RWC games except the tier 2 side in RWC actually try

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 24,371 ✭✭✭✭Larbre34

Take the '23 World Cup off them.

Christ. Bonus point before half time.

    That's the championship for England.

Just shows that was no fluke last week : this is a seriously good England side

    Wales might say otherwise!

Wales will shyte themselves against England

    Embarrassing to watch this

France need to sack the manager post match. He cannot recover from such a hiding

Lot of the French problems stem from the fat mess in the 13 shirt.

England look on fire and so well coached. No monotonous one of the ruck hit up stuff. Using their forwards and backs very well. They will cakewalk the 6N if they keep this up.

Prediction for the the next half? I’d say England will run in another half dozen plus tries. Looking at 60 plus point for them

    Nah, England will beat Wales.

    Where was Huget?

Out on the wing with an an empty backfield. School boy stuff.

    Shocking stuff from France.

But right now I don’t think Ireland would be able to do what England are doing.
Youngs and Farrell execution and decision making are streets ahead of Murray and Sexton.

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,293 ✭✭✭All_in_Flynn

Brunel surely going to get the chop after this? Does Huget know he is wearing no.15 on his back?

England carrying well and Young’s passing has been exceptional.

Bloody hell. I dashed home to see this match.. Was really looking forward to it!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,201 ✭✭✭troyzer

This is so miserable to watch.

Ireland have no chance at the world cup if this is weekend is any indication of form.

I wouldn't be able to handle an English victory at the world cup.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 45,433 ✭✭✭✭thomond2006

Brunel has to walk tonight and half the team should follow him. For that bunch to be the best France can offer is a parody.

England won’t win a World Cup. Their performances are look far better cause we have been so poor.

I've only been watching the last 20 mins but some of young's passing has been terrible.

I'm still not convinced they can win a world cup. I mean if their massive dynamic ball carrying hard hitting players stay fit for every important game then yes maybe but those players tend to be the first to suffer injury. It all looks easy when you are dominating collisions.

England have France and the Argies in RWC.

There’s a lot of « France are really poor ». But I think England are just really good. We will see how poor France are or are not once they have visited Dublin. The trouble with France is that seem to be a team of individuals rather than a team.

    Swap France for Georgia.

heard somewhere the point that France have never been professional at national level since the sport went professional.

they were ok in the "semi-pro" era of the first 10 to 15 years of professionalism but have been badly exposed since then.

French "flair" might have worked in the past but now it's just a byword for no structure or game plan.

they might win the odd game against a good side here or there but less and less likely - need to sort themselves out.

French rugby is in a sorry sorry state. Given the resources and budgets they have, it’s nothing short of a disgrace.

    Yea.

I don't think Ireland would put 30 points on this France team by half time. England have been excellent.

They are no doubt. Looking like they're really hitting form in WC year.

England are 31 point favourites on Paddy power now. That's a great line to take right now.

    France 100/1 to come back.

The championship does not have much of a draw for the remaining weekends after only 2 weekends played based on what we've seen from 5 of the countries.

We were a smidge below our best. England are just better. Serious WC contenders.

Despite that they should have won the WC 2011 and have made the final three times. They should be top 5 every year.

The sophistication of French coaching seems 10 or more years behind the times. Almost everyone has moved beyond them. Its only that they still have a serious pool of talent that they are sustaining any sort of level. Player development hasnt moved on much either, but thats back to the low level of coaching.
They need to hire a few New Zealanders for about 10 years for root and branch change in French rugby knowhow.

the usual problem is that they have so many decent players but don't know how to create a team.

Penaud knows how to sprint right? He looks knackered... Two minutes into the second half.

Terrible from France, no doubt in my mind they will turn up against us and it will be a different type of game.
Depressing we are not where we thought we were and the inverse for England.

Only now remembering England were hot pre-Tournament favs last year.

Hopefully this is our blip period and we are more on point for the World Cup because we’ll be exiting at the 1/4 final stage as per usual the way things are right now
