6 Nations is fairly ****e when Italy and France are in this shape...Scotland haven't even gotten much better either.

I do miss the days of France being good.

So Eddie Jones has made England into Ireland 2018. Interesting.

No he hasn't. They look a far more formidable side than Ireland 2018.

England's kicking game over last two games has been absolutely perfect. Youngs, Farrell and Daly all making good decisions and executing well too.

    :(

Yeah it has very good but in both games they were kicking into varying degrees of disorganised back fields (France obviously much more disorganised then Ireland).. it makes it look much smarter.

Against an off form Irish side and truly despairing French side. Settle down!

May gets MOTM. Had to be him or Farrell.

Curry is somehow missing the number on the back of his jersey.

Pissed blood all over his first one so they got him one out of Penneys.

    Farrell has so much time.
Half backs in form, making good decisions behind an aggressive, effective pack, with great chasing from the backs when they kick. It's very similar to what we've been doing so well up until the last couple of games.

    Poor kick by Dupont.

    What?
It's a paste and copy job but they are only two games into these tactics.

Bastareaud has really stunk the place out.

Have France ever gone winless since Italy joined?

So it wasn’t a one off last week, England are genuine contenders for the World Cup now

Well this has been a turgid weekend of 6 nations Rugby. Only one team look to be in any kind of good form at the moment

It's a long year ahead maybe it's a good sign that the northern hemisphere **** the bed this early, they might finally peak mid tournament

Wales were fairly poor last week and beat this French outfit comfortably away from home.

France were worse again this week and England didn't have to get out of second gear.

Last week was a big statement from England - this week was a big statement from France.

While I agree with the overall sentiment, in what world did wales win comfortably last week in Paris?

Still impossible to judge where England are really. They should have put 60- 70 point on that disgrace of a team out there.
They look good, but they need to be up against slightly stiffer opposition to truly assess them.

Like Ireland? Will Ireland destroy France like that? I don't think so.

I don't think France could possibly be as bad again. And yes, in form and at our best we would inflict a score like that. England should have scored a lot more but made plenty of mistakes and butchered a good few scores too.
Point is, we don't know how good they are.

They gave the second best team in the world a good lesson last week.

Fair to say that England are very good right now. They've hit form at the right time. They aren't sneaking victories either, that's two convincing wins on the back of dominant performances.

They'll be there or thereabouts at the World Cup. Can't see another pool stage exit for them unless their form falls off a cliff.

Injury to Billy V and Farrell and they'll have a big drop off.

We weren't the second best team in the world last week though Awec. Loads coming back from injury, and experiment at fullback.

I would be expecting them to figure in the WC. Never said otherwise, they are a good team, but have they made significant progress? On the basis of two handy enough games, far too early to say.

I think Ireland actually played better last week than this. England were just so far ahead that they left Ireland in their wake.

Farrell and the Vunipolas are probably the best in the world in their respective positions right now.

Fair enough but when can we say? If they beat Scotland and Wales people will just say they beat 2 ordinary teams (both teams do look very very ordinary).

In fairness to ntamack his old man did the same for dricos hatrick.

How Farrell didn’t get MotM I don’t know. May got three tries but two were on a plate for him and for the second one he beat his opposite man from two yards out. Thought Farrell was exceptional in everything he done.

I don't know, but I would expect this England team to face far stiffer tests than the first two games. They are always going to be there or thereabouts though.
Put to the test will they come up short as has been the case? Who knows.
