Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fair enough, I'd say something if it was a nice green but it was just a load of grass so fire away.

So the mayor and Bus Éireann got together to see if they could come up with a solution to the lack of usable public transport in the city, and decided to just blame UL instead..

While I think they could do with a bus lane on the campus, they would need one from the campus to the dublin road too.

My thoughts on it are having two or three bus loops, you'd have a Raheen - City Centre (Debenhams) - Raheen, and UL - City Cenre (William St.) - UL bus. The same for the Northside. If you needed to switch over you could show your ticket to say you're going to UL for the William st (UL Service).

I think it would definitely increase the frequency of buses but then again Limerick would probably need more buses

would 100% agree with you here, but i do think its ridiculous that 2 parties come to a meeting to discuss a failure to adequately fulfill their responsibility, and the outcome is to blame a 3rd party!

Some local residents have been protesting about what they regard as the destruction of their amenity but really it's just a large grassy space which is unused even by dog walkers. It is just the uppermost third which is being developed.

No, those are for compostable material such as kitchen waste only. As far as I am aware Mr. Binman no longer collect glass items.

I had the phone in my pocket, otherwise I'd say I wouldn't even have heard it. When it gave one short jingle and rang off straight away, I looked at it expecting it to be my friend who never has credit and who I always have to ring back.

They must be targeting Limerick today!

The EL counter in Debenhams used to be fine, but last time I went in there a young 'gentleman' looked down his nose at me and refused to give me a sample.

I had the opposite experience to you in BT. As soon as I got within a few feet of the counter, they were on me.

I bought it in Debenhams in Cork in the end. Obviously I was there anyway. I didn't go specially, but the young girl I met was lovely and gave me lots of little samples

So if you do find yourself in Cork .....

I used to use Double Wear before, but hadn't in a few years and I know that some of the shades had changed. I didn't want to buy a full bottle when I wasn't sure what shade I was, so I asked if I could have a sample and was told that samples are only available with a purchase.

    Totally defeats the whole point!

Stopped at the traffic lights today beside that Polish supermarket in Roxborough when I see a grown man driving full-pelt down a foothpath on a scrambler whilst wearing a balaclava.
I was informed by someone I know from nearby that it is a common thing, balaclava and all.
    Jesus Christ.

Edit: Sorry if I sound like an easily shocked mother who has never been out of North Circular Road, I can assure you I am neither :D

It's regular enough, sure during the summer I saw lads in one of the green areas near the lights across from the school trying to light the grass on fire. I know there are good people in these area's but the minority of people that havent that many brain cells give it a bad name

Dolans are doing a series of gigs called live at the docklands, will be in a big tent similar to Cork. They have a few good on that weekend in sure the timing isn't coincidental.
