The funniest part is that not a single person within that woke circle jerk is able to bring themselves to point out the sheer ridiculousness of a man who imagines himself to be a woman impoverishing himself by buying sanitary products for his imaginary period.

You are missing the point...to undermine the existence of gender and all associated social roles and finally smash the patriarchy....these people are unhinged.

What's the issue here? Its a biological issue amongst women which can cause pain and discomfort and impact on their quality of life - where's the problem raising the issue, maybe having some discussion around the availability and pricing of sanitary products?

Don't get me wrong, the issue is far more acute in poorer parts of the world where access to simple sanitary products is far more difficult and that has various health implications, but I see no issue with the topic being raised here.

the issue is the painful framing of the issue to not mention the unmentionable - women.

no, its a woman who imagines herself to be a man, but still has periods...

makes sense when you think about it

    No it really doesn’t.

thats fine, they can identify as what they want but why should the rest of us have to be erased because of it?

Always sanitary towels removed the woman symbol from their packaging to appease the activists. Many campaigns for cervical cancer screening and reproductive health issues have similarly removed any mention of women or females due to complaints. Can anyone think of anytime male centric products or issues have had to do the same?

Take a look and compare at the HSE pages for cervical and prostate cancer. The cervical cancer one has no mention of the word "woman" or even "female". Zero. We are "people who have a cervix". Whereas the prostate cancer page has no problem with the reality that is an issue that only effects men and states as much multiple times.

    https://www.hse.ie/eng/health/az/c/cancer,-prostate/symptoms-of-prostate-cancer.html

Why is it only ever womens issues that are targeted in this way resulting in us literally being erased from our own issues. Its almost as if "woman" and "female" are now dirty words. Very strange and depressing

Transmen who still have a uterus will usually bleed though cross sex hormones may stymy menses as they painfully shrivel the organs. This bleeding is a female process. It is a direct factual result of their female body parts. Menstruation is not ever a male process.

Autogynephilia can include a physiologic element whereby the person feels a strong fantasy or erotic attachment (paraphilia) to or regarding female activities such as menstruation, lactation and pregnancy. In some cases the medical world has facilitated these fantasies eg inducing lactation in males who are transwomen. This involves a strong cocktail of hormonal chemicals which then go into the infants body via the "milk" that is produced. Surely a violation of the child's right to protection from harm, but it has happened.
The well known and vocal transwoman Yaniv has a strong physiologic preoccupation with menstruation.

That some quarters of society imagine they are progressive to enable these fantasies, or the sexualisation of children as per the OP, is a form of mass hysteria in itself. In a nice circling, the word hysteria is rooted in the uterus.

I don't know if I should mention it, as it was a tweet I saw recently.

But a bloke mentioned that his daughter (in Britain) has been exposed to this gender fluid nonsense in school, she got out of the shower on day and saw herself in the mirror and became hysterical because her wet hair made her look male...the poor thing thought she had transformed into a boy.

We let kids believe in Santa because it's harmless....this most certainly isn't!

    This may be controversial....

Only women can have periods. Men can't.

If you have a period, you are a woman.

If you are having a period and are bleeding from your vagina.... You are not a man.

    Radical thinking.

It is nuts to think that you could be sacked from your job for just saying that...in 2020.

    People need to wake up!

How many people supporting the transgender stuff also support immigration from foreign countries like Nigeria whose people are largely anti-transgender conservative Christians or Muslims?

    Indeed.
The chair (no less!) of South Dublin Greens (a doctor no less!) has now come to the Greens rescue by branding the hundreds of people who said 'women and girls' as 'transphobes'
You see this on there, on here and everywhere from people in influential positions spurred on by a very tiny minority of mouths because there is to be no debate! No discussion! Be kind means suspending actual facts and reality!

What I also find disturbing in the comments are the smattering of anti-British comments from trans rights activists. The comments are well liked and the identities of those making the comments are mostly easy to make out. Some of them are researchers. That is just insane to me. What does a person’s nationality have to do with it? Surely they can refute the point on its own merits? And are they not concerned about being bigoted about another nationality?

Trans activists are generally just scum, they’ll use anything they can to attack a person trying to make a point. They can’t debate because there is nothing to debate - the whole trans base is built on lying to themselves and expecting everyone else to play along so when that doesn’t happen they turn nasty.

And get this: in the comments under that tweet, there are a few people - mostly men - calling people who object to the word ‘woman’ not being used as misogynists. The general sentiment being “are you saying women aren’t people?”. Talk about completely missing the point!

They don’t like women being defined as women because it breaks their illusion that they can pretend to be women too (which they will never ever ever in a million years be no matter how hard they click their heels or close their eyes).

This is very true. No insult is off limits. They do love that moral low ground. And god help any transgender person who doesn’t agree with them!

I’m assuming you are a woman so they’d called you a TERF (don’t ask me what it means because I couldn’t care less about their terminology). Dunno what they’d call men apart from their bull**** cis tag but I’m guessing it’s not much because a broken jaw isn’t a good look if you’re pretending to be female.

The left have come up with so many new terms and phrases that it warrant's an actual official reference book, a literal lefty terms handbook.

"In addition to being essential to girls health and security, access to dependable, well-designed sanitation facilities exerts a direct influence on girls education rates. In 2019 a third of the worlds schools lacked toilets, according to the UN. The direct result has been an increase in girls drop out and school absence rates when they reach puberty, owing to the lack of a place where they can change when they have their period. According to UNESCO, in sub-Saharan Africa one girl in ten misses 20% of the school year for the same reason."

"According to the most recent available data, from 2017, over 500 million women lacked access to sanitation facilities. That means that 13% of the worlds female population was unable to use a toilet to go to the bathroom or manage menstrual hygiene. For these women, the risk of sexual assault is 40% higher than for women with access to sanitation facilities, according to a 2018 study conducted in the shanty towns of Kenyas Mathare Valley. In India, this risk is as high as 50%."

The above quotes are from a website called Ideas 4 Development.

The UN and other global green and progressive organisations have campaigns in different parts of the world for sanitation access based specifically on the sex of those lacking access - ie girls and women. Tricky for the hip to the moment progressives like Irish Greens. One truthspeak required in one place and a different truthspeak elsewhere. Virtue-signalling switcheroo. One would have to feel mercy for those thrust into such ideological dilemmas. Like western women public figures looking appropriately docile and respectful in cultural head scarves and yet never saying a word about those women and girls being presently tortured or killed in prisons because they object to them. It must be very hard to be so fundamentally inauthentic.

Thread has moved so far from the original purpose of the op that it has just become a generic trans bashing free for all
