Yes, almost every Irish character actor of the time was in it at some point. His character Slipper reminded me of this eccentric oul lad who lived near us.

"Baa, Baa Black sheep" not an agricultural show dealing with racial injustice on the farm, but a War show set in WW2. I remember the CGI was a bit meh even for the era, but fun to watch.

If I recall correctly the main star of that series was Robert Conrad who had made his name in the 60s in the Wild Wild West.

It’s actually a true story (well based on) Pappy Boyington was real. I read the book a few years back.

no it had nothing to do with Barry Lang,

it was a programme that had no presenter just vox pops from members of the public between the videos

There use to be a questionnaire show. Can't remember the name or if it was on ITV or BBC but at the end, they'd always give the contestants a copy of the paper from the year they were born.

Mattie, Pat Shortts followup to Killinaskully. I think Pat himself would rather forget that one. Even the crowd who lapped up Killanaskully didn't take to it. It was then retconned as Sgt Mattie and managed to be even worse.
