Ah, The Three Jolly Pigeons, a lovely pub. Was just a passer-by, but you kinda knew there was something special about it.

I don't particularly like this sort of music but I'm really enjoying this slot, despite Ray's best efforts. They're just very genuine and also talented! I reckon the side stories would be very interesting if there was a decent presenter to probe a bit better.

For anybody who's interested, Gemma O'doherty was interviewing John Waters last night while the Toy Show was going on. They had a right go at RTE as well.

    Golden Discs still going?!

There's barely any branches of HMV left here in the UK!

"You're keeping your cards close to your chest", as opposed to Ray who's got his cards all over the kitchen table.

Only know her from tv but she has a smile that lights up a room and no airs and graces about her.

There's a branch in Stephen's Green Centre and one in Liffey Valley as well I think?

The only problem with Darcy is he knows all the irish conversational clichés,
and as he might say himself, if he was let,...f**k all else.

Could be good for a laugh - like the Ray D'Arch show.

Think Golden Discs are down to about 10 or 12 stores nationwide but have had a bit of a mini revival on the back of hipsters going mad for vinyl. I miss the HMV days, Virgin Megastore too a big loss.

There's a branch in the Town Centre Shopping Centre in Athlone.I'm sure people in Athlone and surrounding areas will buy that CD.

Loved Virgin Megastore, it's surreal how large it was.

Always went to the branch on Aston Quay every time I went shopping in Dublin from the time it opened in 1986 until it closed in 2002.

Lovely woman. It's a pity I don't get to see her as often as I used to. I told this story on here before.:

My wife's nephew is a dab hand at the accordion and he bought tickets to one of her shows a few years ago. I texted Sharon asking her if she could meet him for a pic after the show. She replied telling us to come in at 5 in the evening before the soundcheck. She spent the best part of an hour with him teaching him a few tips and tricks.

She's playing here in January and There will be tickets for me and him with a plus 1 each, at the desk.

That's a great clip. Thanks for putting it up. They both say it as it is. !
