Yes had a play the day they launched. Lovely phone, the ceramic back and aliminium body give it a super premium hand feel, a lot slimmer and easier to manage than I'd expected. Didn't feel very big in my hand and I usually prefer a smaller phone. I'd definitely stick a case on it though as it's very glossy and I'd say it's slippy enough at times. Camera seemed decent, the selfie cramera might take some getting used to with the whole flipping it to use thing but I take about 4 selfies a year so won't really bother me too much.

It's definintely on my maybe list for an upcoming upgrade.

Cheers man...I owned the nexus 4 back in the day which was also had a mind of its own sliding off the furniture!! I think you get a case with the phone which is decent enough quality...You're like myself so regarding the selfie camera

I'm using a phone with EMUI and MI seemed similar enough to that to be honest.
There was an app tray, seemed very zippy but with a 845 and 6gb of ram you'd expect that. I'd probably throw on Nova or Pixel launcher anyway so the overlay wouldn't really mean a lot to me to be honest.

I'd prefer if every major manufacturer used used stock android but at least these days the overlays they do use are fairly minimal.

Was looking at getting there wireless sport earphones but these may be better.

It doesn't it has a crappy mediatek processor, and other mistypes on the page, incl of calling it Redmi 3.

And the live-stream is broken!

Must have had about 4 in stock because by the time I got the the till they were gone, about 20 seconds after they went live.

I clicked Buy within 1 second of it changing from "Coming Soon" to "Buy" - instantly got out of stock. Now could be that others clicked a lot quicker than me, but i reckon they were only giving 1 away !

This exactly...they have the mi mix 2s listed at £519 which can be got from aliexpress for about 380eur!! can only imagine what the mix3 will retail for..
